tut tut Jess, you disappoint me with that attitude. there is a style involving the use of TEXT as the focal point, its called Typography. Getting a little bit on your artistic high horse there. I see you've turned down the pyramid, which could make a very interesting focal if you were creative enough with it.
If I remember correctly, who was it who was quite happy with splicing pictures together without much actual editing back when it was all you were capable of? not everyone has skills in sig making and he was only giving you an example for you to go on.
