"Damn kids... always in a hurry," grumbled Alphonse as that Lyons girl sped out of the lockers room. Alphonse sighed. He'd just swept up in there, and no doubt he'd have to clean it again now someone had messed it up. Stepping in from the corridor, he noticed the miscellaneous candy wrappers that had escaped from the woman's locker. With a tired groan he lifted his broom and began sweeping the room again.
"Damn kids can't even get to work on time, and they leave garbage all over the floors, dang it..." Alphonse murmers descended into indecipherable curses as he set to work, sweeping the mess towards the bin in the far corner.
Minutes later he was all done, and once again the lockers room was a shining bastion of cleaniness. Throughly satisfied, Alphonse picked up his broom and padded out of the room, thick leather shoes resounding on the spotless, beige vinyl floors of the corridor. Proudly admiring the newly-washed white walls of the employee area, Alphonse steadily made his way to the employee lounge, stopping only to pop in on the storeroom. There was no one in there.
"Damn kids, they're gonna get me fired at this rate, slacking off like that. It's only thirty minutes until the store opens," said Alphonse, his briefly happy mood evaporating. "Rassum frassum kids..." Continuing on his way, he checked his watch. It was an old thing, bought at the stoe when he began working here, and still kept perfect time. Perfect enough, anyway. Ten minutes had gone by the time he arrived at the employee lounge. Hands still firmly grasping his broom, he walked over to the kitchen and started boiling some water in the kettle. He glanced over at the Lyons girl.
"I'm making tea. Want a coffee, Tori?"
