Matt idoly waited as they continued their conversation, going on in his own head why she would be having a chat with a human. Matthew had only had a few human companions in the past years, but he thought he was the only exception, that most other vampires simply the urges were as strong as his own. For now Matt shrugged it off. The waitress returned with his coke "Thank you miss." he said to her as she walked off.

Just as Matt had turned his head to glance at the two in the booth, the man had changed his appearance... The slayer! It was him, thats why Matt had not noticed him before, he had used holy water or some other substance to cover his scent, and his hair let down completely changed his appearance. Matt's eyes widened as the man did that, when he took a sip of the coke, the liquid almost simply fell back out of his mouth but he put his hand over it to keep that from happening. He was so close to the hunter, yet he hadn't known it.

With Matt's jaw droped and eyes wide opened all he could do was stare at the man.. Had he realized that Matt was a vampire? Maybe, but Matthew wanted to be sure before he did anything rash. He changed his expression back to normal as if he pretended he had never been suprised by anything. Matthew's heart was pumping abnormally fast now, he could feel very fluently his own heart beat now. Truely, that was a shock. Matt decided to keep his cool for now and hoped the slayer had not noticed him.
