A Dragon's Heart ooc

So this story is basically about an evil force enslaving the dragon race, during the process dragons have turned against the human race. I may think about people having dragons but for now my thought is having only the five members have dragons. Now you’ll notice in my character’s bios I have no dragons mentioned… for a reason! Please do not place a bio of any dragons, I think that the five should find there dragon throughout the story. As for having any questions, just pm me or ask here and I’ll let you know. Hope most of this is self-explanatory and can’t wait! Rules: Races consist of Humans or Elders. I’ll need three elders and five humans I’m taking an idea of King Arthur and the round table and making it my own. The five humans (plus Gwenyth) will be Ennuswen’s small force, the elders will accompany on the journey, but here’s the thing, one elder has to betray the group. We’ll figure that out later. After these 8 characters any side characters can be accepted (as long as they pm me first) you can have up to 2-3 characters each as I have. Some obvious rules: - no god-mode - no control of other people’s characters (without permission) - no one liners, at least three full paragraphs - Absolutely *NO OOC POSTS in the IC thread, please talk here! You probably won’t need to know these, this will be to help you figure it out if I mention a city we move into, or you want to base your character from a certain country. • The World has four continents but we’ll only be talking about the one continent with four countries: Kajelrir 1. Konuhvar (Ennuswen is from here) 2. Rhakmarrir (Mindadarsda is banished to its royal prisons where she secretly takes up arms to fight back and rule her own land. (use of magic)) 3. Kanjachim 4. Kaninkarr (Gwenyth hails from this country) Konuhvar small cities (plus capital) - Jadiras is Konuhvar’s capital Konuhvar’s other cities: - Jokayrir - Kagarn - Jokyk - Joran - Kachinrir - Kjolykir Rhakmarrir’s small cities (plus capital) - Krolja is Rhakmarrir’s capital Rhakmarrir’s other cities: • Kanor • Krolja • Kjaror • Chakirarn • Jadar • Kolar Kanjachim’s Small cities (plus capital) - Rakirvar is Kanjachim’s capital Kanjachim’s other cities: • Jadirmund • Jokanarn • Konararl • Taithochrir • Izlyesij • Ixtomak Kaninkarr’s small cities (plus capital) - Namawos is Kaninkarr’s capital Kaninkarr’s other cities: • Ixojal • Etzlenak • Qaqal • Izlek • Namam • Azim Here is how the story will start out *still being edited! but this will kind of help* It was a world filled with peace, a score was just settled and a contract signed. The slavery of dragons was being passed and the last of the dyeing breed were allowed to live out their lives in freedom. The present queen at this time just gave birth to a new daughter and named her Ennuswen. She promised that the entire continent was hers to rule in peace, the day her daughter was born. But little did mother know of a new fate that would one day force upon them. Mindadarsda was woman’s name, and right hand to Ennuswen’s mother. She never agreed with stopping the dragon slave movement nor did she approve of this woman’s new child. Thus the rebellion began, but only in secret. [*Edit:] The story line is a mixture of Arthur round table and Eragon. The dragons can talk to humans telepathically but only if the dragons choose it, the dragon's hold the power. **Alright, now we need some elders! If you want to be someone other then an elder you'll have to pm me your character bio so I can make sure it will work for the story!

Here are my three characters that will give you a general idea of the requirements you need.
Dark Queen Bio (the main evil bad-guy): Name: Mindadarsda Race: Elder Age: 134 Sex: Female Appearance: Click here Weapon: (as seen in picture above) History: Mindadarsda was Ennuswen’s mother’s right hand and head Elder for many of years. Every so many generations, magical powers skip a line and a queen or king is required to have a head elder to help continue on with ruling the continent. Ennuswen’s mother was a very unusual queen, and violence was not her pleasure. She helped in passing the law to ban dragon slavery once and for all. This did not please Mindadarsda and so she wished to take revenge upon her queen. Yet, such an untimely event happened during her plans, and Ennuswen was born. Mindadarsda decided to hold off, to see how much of the little queen she could control. If she could help it, the dragons would be workers again. That was what they were created for, to serve the humans! Light Queen Bio: Name: Ennuswen Race: Human Age: 24 Sex: Female Appearance: Click here Weapon: Bow and Arrow History: Ennuswen was born into a time of peace and that was all she ever grew up knowing. She secretly despised Mindadarsda but would never speak such things about her mother’s head elder. Ennuswen grew into a life of reading, she was aware she needed to learn of the wars and tribulations that can appose on life, but as for experience she would merely have to trust the reign of peace would last until and beyond her own death. Though her suspicions of Mindadarsda’s person was always present, she had no acknowledgement of the events about to unfold. Warrior Chief Bio: Name: Gwenyth of Kaninkarr Race: Human Age: 20 Sex: Female Appearance: Click here Weapon: (as seen in picture) History: Gwenyth grew up in a home of brother’s and a father. Being the youngest of the group her mother died at birth and was left to fight her way into a family. Her father tried very hard to find an experienced maiden to teach her the way of a woman’s life, but Gwenyth’s heart forever remained in the fighting ways of the men. She watched her brother’s fight in the listings as she grew up, and after they trained with the men, they promised to teach her something too. Sadly the only goal her skills were used with was hunting and defending her family’s farm from local cattle raids. She longed for travel, and little did she know the adventure about to await her.

I'll bite. A. because this story fits with the stuff i like and it intrigues me. B. because you intrigue me for some reason that i can't describe, o.O (i'm a creep, don't hurt me! :P )
I'm going to start out with one character unless we appear to be short handed and you need me to create another one or two...I find that multiple seems to clog things up If I did make another one, it would be a female. Working on my main character right now. edit: • Name: Lan Ilsidor Race: Human Age: 21 Sex: Male Appearance: Short black hair with a silver streak of hair down the center about an inch across. Soft brown eyes, nearing 6 feet tall, and weighs in around 180 pounds. Very fit but not overly muscular, fair skin. Wears a black cloak, simple dark leather armor. Black gauntlets with dragons sketched all over it that he acquired from his grandfather. Has two swords both sheathed on his right hip side by side. Another one strapped on his back with the hilt facing his left shoulder. Keeps a dagger sheathed in the crook of his back that is held up by a leather string that goes all the way around his chest and is attached to a metal slab that sits over his heart. Weapon: Three swords that he is highly trained to use, sometimes carries a shield. A few daggers if he finds them. Knows how to use a bow but doesn’t carry one with him. History: His grandfather was a commander who was commanded to hunt down dragons that found a way to get free back when they were slaves. He didn’t enjoy the job, but learned a lot from it. His father was also a general in the army, though he admittedly didn’t learn as much. The two of them agreed that something was not right in the land, so they taught Lan all they knew about not only fighting people, but dragons since he was 5 years old. His grandfather gave him his gauntlets when he was 16, and died shortly after. Lan is now setting out from his homeland of Kaninkarr where his father raised him to see what he can do for his rightful homeland. Is an expert in dual wield combat, single sword combat, combat tactics/leading an army, and how to fight a dragon. How does that look to you? If its okay, I wouldn't mind meeting your *fighter* character some time before the tournament, since they're starting in the general same area, but thats up to you. Name: Jamo of the South
((so they're both from different continents, hopefully that's okay? thought it would be cool)) Race: Human Age:30 Sex: Male Appearance: (no picture, couldn't find one) nearly 8 feet tall, 250 pounds of muscle, Jamo is a towering, darkskinned man. He has several piercings, lip, nose, ears. Wears a large amount of jewelry, golden chains with gems and such, it shows his status. His head is completely bald, almost to where it shines. He has a goatee, braided beard. He doesn't wear armor, no one really does in his land, shows weakness. His muscles are almost disgustingly huge, bulging out. Weapon: He carries a kind of two handed sword, 6-7 feet long, crudely carved out of quartz. As such, it is very dull, but, it must weigh over a ton, so the shear momentum can tear through a target. He has some kind of innate magic that makes him strong enough to wield it. His fighting is slow, but his hits are deadly, even to those wearing armor. History: Jamo comes from a long line of warriors, all with a similar magic strength. He was a leader of his tribe, and was selected to head North, to protect the dragons there, as his people holds dragons as sacred. He has been fighting all of his life, and it is a great honor for him to have been selected. However, his people know little of Kajelrir to the north, so he heads onto the continent with no idea of where he is going, or what the people will think of him, as he is very different from those who live there. He is bold, strong, not afraid of anything, which will likely get him into trouble. Name: Katika Race: Human Age: 22 Sex: Female Appearance: Just over 5 feet high, a tiny, agile girl, beautiful figure, even more beautiful face. Wears an elegant looking robe, similar to the one in the picture, and sandals, no jewelry or anything particularly fancy.  Weapon: Swallow, essentially a staff with a tear drop shaped blade on either end. She is a quick fighter, the leverage from a long weapon helps make up for her small frame and lack of strength. She is well trained and has an incredible technique with the weapon, one that the people of the new land will probably be amazed by. History: Katika, like Jamo is from a different land. However, her land does not respect dragons to the same extent. Communicating with Jamo's people, for good relations they sent Katika to go with him to the new land. Katika has always been fascinated by dragons, and happily volunteered to go. She grew up being trained as a warrior, nothing else special really, but believes that this is her destiny. combined history: Katika set sail to meet Jamo in his homeland. The two met, and set off North together both heading to a completely unfamiliar land. In order to communicate with eachother, and the people of Kajelrir, they have learned the language there, through merchants that make occasional journeys, which was hard to accomplish as communication between continents is rare. They have both arrived on the ship that brought Katika, which left them there on the new continent. Clearly a strange pair, they head north, hoping to find information about the dragons.

Hey Darkhawk, good to be roleplaying with you soon, again. Ha! Nice to know I'm intriguing and I'll try my best not to hurt you. ^_^ Our characters can meet up when ever you'd like, I'm not picky on meetings as long as it's reasonable.
Welcome 3velynn, you may not have found a picture for Jamo, but I could see his description very clearly. Very nice. Both welcomed, I'll assume you want t take the roles of the humans and not the elders, if I that's wrong, let me know. Since we will be barely meeting yet, and a task to fight on a mission is not near being presented, you two can post whenever you'd like until we get more characters.

Sure thing, oh and if you pick an elder let me know which character you want as an elder.
An elder is mostly like a human except for his or her age span. They live up to about 400-500 years and possess some ability of magic, though it's nothing huge, just decent normal magic, almost barely noticeable. Elders hold high positions in the world and many kingdoms with royal family's. The elders in this story would be accompanying the six on their journey helping in anyway. They can fight but they are not trained warriors, more so of a sage type. They will not posses dragons as the opening post suggests the humans may, because of the main fact the can perform magic. if I did it I would add another character... maybe wait for more people to join and see if we need another character or not. Hopefully more people will join in, I'm pretty excited about this one.
