I remembered something so i have one request though. Farkas's birthday is at March 13. I'd like to use that opportunity to trigger the family event.

Hi! I'd like to join in, if welcome? But to be honest I don't want to read through 83 pages of posts. I read the first few and it looks as though it's something I'd like to be a part of, if someone could give me a brief rundown of the other 80 pages or important stuff I might need to know? If you're even looking for new players? lol

This will work out perfectly for Farkas' birthday. Donta would get out around the first week and my plans would put it around that time.

Spk, you are welcome to join and it would be better if you join after this jump. As for a recap, I'll give you a brief overview of the major things you need to know.

The story is based in the future where genetic manipulation has brought forth a new species called Ferals, or anthropomorphic animals from blending DNA of Animals and Humans. Relations between the two races are shaky, resembling the racism problems between white and colored people of the last century. Relationships between Humans and Ferals are frowned upon and are very rare, but one relationship has produced the only hybrid, which is Donta.

The world is going through a change where Ferals and Humans are legally equal, but old beliefs still hold, and racist views stem terrorist acts trying to force the two species apart. Terrorist groups form and crime rates rise.

Donta's father was a researcher who brought back an unknown substance, which was released on earth, infecting everyone. Humans developed strange powers and supernatural abilities, while Ferals reverted to a more primal animal form. Enhanced (infected) humans, being more overconfident because of their abilities, feel that the gap in superiority between themselves and Ferals has widened. Because of this majority of them become part of these terrorist groups.

Among this conflict, a new race is beginning to emerge. Cyborgs are still widely unknown because there are only a handful of them, but scientists are researching and producing more on the space station Alpha One, in orbit above the earth.

As of now, Donta has just been killed by Cody, an Enhanced human and leader of one terrorist group. Cody needed his blood, that of a hybrid, for his evil plans. Farkas and Angela are together and thinking of having children, while Kai is already pregnant with Ben by her side.

So as for a character, You can either be a Human, Feral, or Cyborg. Please skim the last few pages to get a feel for the story, and provide a background for you character.

We should be ready for a new player shortly so bear with us.

ok i'd say it would be fine for you to jump in now. Read my last post and be sure to explain your character in your first post. Add a little background and you should be fine. I also added the opportunity for you to be a student pilot if you want. It may be the best way to go. This academy will probably go something like G.O.A in Candidate for Goddess, if you've ever seen that show.

I guess I should explain the TAMs and PTU's then too. TAMs or Tactical Assault Mechs are kind of like gundams but much smaller and have a spherical cockpit you stand in, wearing sensor suits that makes the mech mock your movements. PTU's or Personal Tactical Units, are more like the robotech bikes that can transform into armor. They're used mainly for urban, close quarters combat when the enemy doesn't have a TAM. They also aren't pressurized so you cant use them in space, unless a pressured suit is worn underneath. Both the TAMs and the PTU's can be outfitted with various equipment as needed.

I believe I mentioned before that only humans can pilot these, but for the sake of the story, the interfaces have been upgraded to allow human, feral, and cyborgs to operate them. All TAMs and PTU's are military property and none are to be used for private use.

I know this is a lot to have happen in three small months, but you'll soon see how well a program like this holds together having been from concept to working product in three months. There will be issues coming in the near future.

As for back on the home front, I'd expect the rest of you to be imaginative of what your characters did to fill those three months. My other characters will continue to live there as before.

If something isn't fitting well in my last post just tell me, i don't mind editing it. I kinda tried to figure out how much they hid from us about Donta's secret and all that.

Basically, Donta has been erased from society and the only ones who know the truth are the people involved with the secret project. However, some of the students at the defense academy are starting to recognize him from the pictures on the website, if anyone from the house saw him would probably recognize him but he hasn't left the station as of yet. He has changed, became slightly taller and bigger, but his features are pretty much the same. He is considered a mut as a feral as well, which is still rare in itself. But because of the memory loss and implant, he's still in a fragile state.

As for Ulric being a part of something bigger, please feel free to take that wherever you want. I'm eager to see where you guys take that.
