Dazzled: Don't worry. You're not the only one who seems swamped with other obligations. It's a busy time of year. And it's almost July the Fourth so that means most of us Americanikers will be off on vacation.

DarkOne: I haven't heard from Kio yet myself. I'm guessing there's a good reason for it so let's wait just a little bit longer. Normally I'd say go ahead, but in this case, Kio's mage is rather important and I'm sure Kio will be on as soon as time is available.

Well, it'd help to go over again the differences between wild and feral magics. They are at present, in the middle of the wild magic area. But, for whatever reason, the spot they're in is protected, an oasis in a desert of danger, so to speak.

Feral magics are those known by and with a history of interaction with humans. Wild magics are those things that are beyond the ken of humanity. Much like the differences between your pet dog who may or may not put a hole in your hand and who may or may not eat your cat, and a pack of wild wolves who would rather not be caught, but put one in the house and I won't be coming over for tea, thankyuverymuch!

As for the oasis, the wild magics are not allowed into this area.

I'd like to make the assumption that any wild magics have the opportunity to be NPC godmoders. They are things that can be caged (so long as the cage or trap or gun or what-have-you is strong enough), and they also need to be treated with great care as they may just as soon eat your head as flee from you.

Within that single parameter of feral magic only in the oasis, anything else is possible. Please respect your character's knowledge of a place that one would have to not be a "normal" human being to have any knowledge about. It is vastly uncharted and known only to the mad and to the madly magical. One would have to be insane to remain anytime longer than was necessary in a place where a single misstep could mean worse than death.

I've not heard from Doli either, but I'm assuming that everyone is super busy, this close to the fourth. Perhaps they'll show when they can squeeze in time. You'd think summer was the quiet, loungy time but I'm thinking most folks are out on the lake or planning stuff or in the garden or mowing the lawn or just plain busy with all of the crazy summer stuff that happens.

That reminds me. It's important I mention that starting June 13th (a Sunday) I will be camping with some family at a lake for exactly a week. During this time I'll be completely unable to post.
