I'm a Cartoon! ooc

Synopsis of Princess Perdita and the Dragon of the Dark Lord (Or how things should be)

Spoiler

Do you have that movie that defines your childhood? For three young people, Princess Perdita is it. One quotes the movie, another draws the characters from it, and the third writes stories. These creative teens are spending one rainy Saturday afternoon inside, when a VHS copy of the movie is found. They decide the movie, having no idea that it will change their lives forever.

No sooner do they see the opening title then they are pulled into Princess Perdita's world. First there is amazement, then shock when they realize they themselves are animations, then dismay when they realize that they don't know how to get home. Worse yet, Princess Perdita's world has become unrecognizable, even to these fans. Dark Lord Noxon has found the script to the film, and using information of the end, he has made the world his own. Now the teens are expected to defeat Noxon. Can they manage to do such a thing, and will they ever get home?

The most important characters are the three teens, who are pretty much picked at this point. I will be playing the Dark Lord, and I can also play the other important characters in the universe, but I wouldn't mind it another person stepped up to play the good wizard or something. Perdita's world is a very cliched medieval one, and I hope to have a lot of fun with these cliches. The party my encounter trolls, knights, werewolves, or what have you.

There are a few things you should know about this cartoon world. For one, dying is very hard to do. Falling from a cliff, getting caught in a rock fall or getting swept down river does not kill a person. Arrows, even when shot by the most skilled archer, never pierce flesh. It is a similar case with swords. Even when people do die, blood is never seen.

In fact, there is a secret to immortality here: be young and good. Really. Only the evil and the elderly ever meet their maker in cartoons like this. This will apply to the travelers from earth as well. As long as they work with the heroes from the film, they cannot die. They can, however, feel enough pain so that they want to die.

The second is that there is no swearing in the cartoon world. Most characters who have been here all their lives have their own version of swears, such as "Dragon Scat!" However if you try to say, for instance, the f-word, you will find yourself saying something different. Have you seen the "monkey fighting" snakes clip? It's kind of like that. You can't fight it, you might as well go with it.

So as for the three mains:

The Writer Reserved: Carries a notebook with or a labtop with a writing program in it. Will not be able to access the internet while in Perdita's world. Knows how to use screenplay format. Either gender.

The Artist Reserved: Carries a sketch pad and a pencil. Can draw in a Disneyesque style. Male or female.

The Actor Reserved: Carries nothing with him. Can mimic almost any voice in the film. Preferably male.

Their powers will be revealed as the story goes on.

I'm really not in much of a mood to demand a CS. Just check in and give a brief description of your character. If you want to use an image, try to get one in a semi-disney, 2-d animated style.

Growing up, he had a huge collection of old cartoons. Eventually it became his hobby to sketch whatever he saw and turn it into a cartoon, always carrying a pencil and a sketchbook with him.

The Actor: Adrian
Growing up, he always wanted to be in the movies! As a result, from most movies, he's memorized the voice and mannerisms (as well as all the best lines!) of his favorite heroes and villians, and is quick to pick up the style of new characters.

You can use this.

Name: Julius Noxon

Age: Chronologically, about 15 years old. In the story universe, about 47.

Appearance: (As much as a wish I could draw this guy...) Tall and muscular, usually wears a black leather suit with finger gloves, and a white fur cape. Has an eyepatch for no explained reason. Sometimes wears a helmet with bull's horns. His eyes are emerald green, he has a black hair and goatee that comes to a point. His hair comes down to his shoulders.

Bio: He never really understood why he hated King Dallas and his daughter, but he felt he spent most of his life trying to dispose of them so that he could claim the fertile farmlands of Cordella. One day he found a curious thing: a bunch of bound papers called a "script". Reading it, he discovered the actions of himself and the Princess over the next few days. Instead of stealing the King's heart then, he stole the Princess instead and locked her in his dungeon. The land of Cordella fell into a deep depression at the loss of their Princess, and it was easy to take over. Noxon is living high now as the Grand King of the Land, but he doesn't understand why Perdita won't die...

Belongings: A magical, snake headed staff he channels his magic through, an eyepatch (even though both his eyes are perfectly fine), a polar bear cape he's particularly proud of and rat-like servants who will follow his every order.

Talents: A talent for plotting, life/plant based magic, transforming magic.

The Writer: Charlie

Born with a natural curiosity and creativity, Charlie can't control his own imagination. This makes him exceptionally shy, and he rarely talks to anybody who he hasn't "warmed up" to. Even then, he isn't that talkative. Princess Perdita and the Dragon of the Dark Lord is the reason he became friends with Adrien and Tyler. Even though he doesn't talk much, he loves to write, and always carries his laptop.
