Very few of you would remember this rp. One of the longest ones since the beginning of the guild. But sadly lost it's steam around the beginning of summer

Basically there are two dragons, Acharon and Bahamut. Acharon was created by Baal (Aka the devil) and Bahamut was created by Aurora (Aka Female God) Humans were created by both Aurora and Baal's blood. Elves were created to protect Humans, Drows were created kill humans and Dwarfs....That were created from the stone of the Cora Mountains. Bahamut was created to protect the humans and to fight Acharon who was created to kill the humans.

After four thousand years, Acharon defeated Bahamut. But Because of the Ancient magic that created them, they could not be totally killed. So Acharon absorb Bahamut and grew even stronger than before. With this new power he forced all the dragons (Some were created and then bred with each other after) some good some bad, to destroy the entire elf race and enslave the dwarfs and humans.

Dwarfs were forced to create grand lairs for each dragon in the mountains a crossed Alengesta. Humans were forced to grow herds to feed the dragons and do other things. Thus the Rein of the dragons started.

For about 3,000 years the Dragons ruled. But it came to an abrupt end when Four were found in the forest surrounding Durloscus Acharon destroyed much of the Capital city of Darlosia and took the kings daughter away, and planned on eating her if the King did not bring the heads of the four Elf’s to him.

Four elves’s appeared and made battle with Acharon. For three days they fought. Each night the elves would run and tend to their wounds. On the end of the third dayone of the elf’s, by the name of Cairn Amandil was able to slay the dragon with his sword the Arbitrator.

The knowledge that the first two dragons could never truly be killed was forgottenin the excitement of the victory, and they didn't think twice after the dragon breathed no more. BUT Acharon's spirit fused itself with the Arbitrator’s emerald on the pommel.

Cairn Amandil married the king’s daughter and he and she ruled till their deaths 800 years later.

10,000 years after the Rein of the Dragons, two brothers, princes of Durloscus. Got into a terrible fight and nearly killed each other. The elder of the two was forced from the kingdom and the younger assumed the throne with his wife and child. 20 years past, suddenly the kingdom's capital city Darlosia was mysteriously destroyed. The Royal family killed as well.

30 years later, Haltia, a small but powerful military country, suddenly had its king overthrown and the new king Aldrick Vensil, a half elf, started to invade bordering kingdoms. Soon they controlled the entire lower half of Alengesta. One of the main factor’s in his victories was a small elite group called “Haltian sword” In this group, though small, were powerful warriors. Each personally trained by Aldrick himself. It was consisted mostly of half elves or elves.

The remaining kingdoms up north rallied together to stop this new threat. The king of Melchior sent letters to all the kingdoms in the northern part of Alengesta. The Republic of Larendos, The Cursed kingdom of Durloscus, The kingdom of Corridia, The kingdom of Servia, to the elves in Linwood, and even to the Dwarfs in the Cora Mountains. All the kingdoms banded together to form the Alliance, to stop the empire from gaining more land.

The Empire of Haltia
The Empire of Haltia started off as a small kingdom renowned for its extremely well trained soldiers. The kingdom was thriving and land was growing scarce, due to the rise of the population. The people looked to the king for answers, but the king was old and weak and would not go to war to expand his boarders. The people were angry with this and demanded a new king that would solve their problems. A Half elf (Human and elf) named Aldrick Vensil appeared and offered Glory for Haltia, he promised that he would be a kind and just ruler if they supported him. The people of Haltia agreed and helped overthrow the king. Once Aldrick was in the position to take over the throne he did not due it with his sword, but his kindness. He gave the king the chance to live out his days in the castle. The people loved Aldrick even more because of his mercifulness. Aldrick lived up to his word started to attack other kingdoms for their land. He wouldn’t enslave the peasants or soldiers of the kingdom he just conquered, but gave them the same rights as his people as if they were Haltian their entire life. This act seemed to fuel the army’s of Haltia and with more and more soldiers joining the ranks. They soon conquered the entire lower half of Alengesta.

He now had a new plan instead of just expanding the land for the people, but to bring all under one banner.

The Kingdom of Melchior
The kingdom of Melchior was known for their Heavy Calvary as well as their diplomacy with all the kingdoms. The king of Melchior prepared his people for war as the Empire grew closer to their boarders. It is in this kingdom where the new elite force will meet.

The kingdom of Corridia
The kingdom of Corridia is a beautiful country whose Royal families were now made up of elves. The people did not care for that because the King and queen were fair to them. But the king and queen have been grieving for thirty years because their daughter Adriane was killed, along with her husband and daughter in the kingdom of Durloscus. Their Archers are the most feared in all of Alengesta.


The Republic of Larendos
Though large the kingdom of Larendos does not have a strong army it still is home to few legendary fighters through out the years. Its monarchy is based more upon a republic, and with Larendos being in very few wars, the military has grown soft.

The kingdom of Servia.The kingdom of Servia is a very peaceful Kingdom due to their natural defenses, The Cora Mountains. A very self reliant kingdom due to the isolation from the rest of Alengesta. They hold a very close Alliance with the Dwarfin race and often trade wool for tools. About fifty years earlier the princess ran away from the kingdom. The king had sent men to find her but never found her. A rumor was that she ran away with a powerful warrior who slew many of the men pursuing her. Some claim they saw her in Haltia, living in the palace.

The Nord kingdom
They are known for their large armada of fast Warships and their freakishly huge warriors. Because of the cold weather, almost every warrior that comes from this land is massive. (Think of Vikings.) They live on the island north east of Servia. The Nord kingdom has no strong ties to the Kingdoms On Alengesta, but to risk having to trade with only one kingdom is too much so they would side with the Alliance.

The Cursed Kingdom of Durloscus
The kingdom of Durloscus was the place where Cairn Amandil ruled after saving the human princess Serenity. Darlosia was destroyed by a black dragon before the empire began to rise. The entire royal family was killed along with all of the people in the city in one night. There are rumors that the place is cursed with the spirit of Acharon. So no one dares goes in. Though still some believe the older brother...Aaron who was forced from the kingdom will return someday.

The Linwood
The Linwood is a huge forest where the elves fled to during the rein of the dragons. Many people soon thought that Elves were a fairy tale, until Cairn an elf, killed Acharon. The Linwood is a magical forest, due to the occupants inside of it. Elves are the only Race able to control the ancient language.

Also the Dragonare Castle can be found in the Linwood.

The Dragonare Clan
Dragonare means “Dragon Ruin” basically dragon hunters.
The Dragonare clan was created by Cairn and his three friends after they slain Acharon. At first only elves were allowed to become a part of the clan, but after one of Cairn son’s proved stronger than most of the clan members, they extended it to Half breeds.

The Dragonare’s are known as the most powerful warriors in Alengesta. Trained to perform well in any area of Magic, and are almost unbeatable with a sword, though some prefer the Bow above the sword and perfect their skills even above a normal elf.

Very few humans are able to fight on equal grounds with Dragonare’s.

OK long I know but there is TONS of back story, plus I added more to it since the first one.

In this rp you could be either “Haltian sword” Or the new group being made.

Please I would like to have at least one character from each land. Your characters will be the strongest warrior’s from their kingdoms. I have characters, some I plan on using If you wish to use them.

Authors note: Vernnal is the General of the Haltian army. Because of his position he could not become apart of the Haltian sword. Also even though he is General, he is still called, Captain Vernnal... instead of General Vernnal because of his services as a Captain in the army.

Authors note: Sarlos is a very strong and dangerous knight. But his honor is questionable. He is one of the few in the Haltian sword.

Author's note: He is a Ranger for Melchoir His archery skills are rivaled only to the elves. He is considered the most dangerous Ranger ever. But in his kingdom he is a hero.

Mhmm, I was going for him or the Empire Captain.. but he seemed like he'd be a boring role. *Shrugs.*

Vernal was basically a secondary character for the old rp. you can change it around if you want.

The only major characters in the last one was Selena, Lachdonon, Sarah and Foirn. From that list. any character can be a big role in my story.

Of course Shelteredidenity's character Leah is a major character.

Before anyone posts in the IC. Please pm me your characters backround and I can add what is needed. (Special events, names of Kings capital cities.) The only person that can post at this moment is Sheltered Idenity, because she knows where her side of the story and my second characters side of the story is going.
