The IC thread will be HERE
---History--- --The Birth of The Titans -- In the beggining there was only nothingness. Then something was birthed out of the nothingness. Many somethings. The nothingness dubbed these somethings titans. Each titan created a giant rock which served as their domains. They called their meet and show off their designs. In their first meeting they decided to show their ideas for the looks of the planets. Ballena covered the entirety of the fifth planet with water except a mass of land in the middle. She called the mass of land an continet. Then Arbol came with a newer idea more fitting the continet. He raised large chunks of land in the north and called them mountains. Caos then came and added to Arbols creation. He put large gaps in the tops of the eastern mountains which spewed out fire and dust. He called them volcanoes. Then Dios came and said "Look for I have created the greatest of them all. I have created plants and animals of which can maintain the world without our help. They are power by a substance I call life." All agreed and left the planet except for Dios. Dios stayed long enough to create a great pallace in the skys in which they could now meet. He left in it a doorway to each world. He numbered them according to what he thought was the ability of each titan. He gave the first door to himself, the second to Caos, the third to Ballena, and the fourth to Arbol. He left them in the great palace and gave each titan their own door leading to the fifth world. This allowed them to traverse the planets without using energy. He also gave a name to their enemy. He called him Hueco. Eventually Hueco found a way to strike at the titans without entering the light. He created Shadow Beasts which would form out of stagnant life substance. They tore at the worlds the titans had so carefully created. Once again the titans had to meet within the fifth world. Each came with designs of a super race to take care of the shadow beast problem. First to show his designs was Dios and he said "Look for I have created man. He can build anything and strive most anywhere." Then came Arbol who said "I have created Dwarves who can defend the inner workings of the planet. They too can build any thing." "My creature can build anything too," Said Ballina "but my creatures, the elves, strive where no others can." The Caos came forth "It seems all the creatures are capable of great constructs. Mine is no exception, but it has no need to. It has the strength to do as it pleases. I call them oscuros" The titan's could not come to an conclusion which design was the best and left the fifth world forever. --Age of Construction After the titans left there each race was left on their own. The oldest and largest race in numbers could not agree upon goverment and split into three. They were the humans. One Group decided upon a anarch goverment and built their city upon the northeastern shores of the island. They called their home Remnis. Another group who chose to find rulership through democry built in the center of the island. This city was called Mooreland. The final group decided upon a goverment designed as a polygarchy and built in the southeast. That city was called Amur. The dwarves built their home in the calmer southern mountains. They were ruled by a king and called their city Nors. The elves created their city in the volcanic mountains and called their city Arisis. The oscuros had no need to build a city for they were nomadic people. Often times they would terrorize anything that left their city and often were the causes of draughts, fires, and disapearences. -The Crusade- Soon the dwarves were tired of the pointless violence that the oscuros brought with them and declared a crusade upon them. No one were required to come, not even the dwarves that had started it, but many did. Lesser oscuros were hunted into exctinction, but the greater oscuros could not be killed so easily. Much of the crusade disapated as the greater oscuro proved to be beyond their capabalities to kill. Then thee young dwarf prince developed a technique seemingily out of the blue to take them down. He captured them, and then imprisoned them within Nors. Soon the crusade revived and almost all oscuros were in captivity. All except one. One that was so great that even the inventer of the technique failed to capture him. But the people of Mooreland did not fail. They had come up with a new secret way to capture the beasts. Now the greatest of oscuros was in a gigantic single cell prison in the middle of mooreland. --The Age of Magic-- The palace of titan's fell from the sky with disrepair. It fell deep into the volcanic mountains. The elves soon began study of it and it's ancient artifacts. Within it they found four great doors and decided it would be best to split them between the nations responsible enough to handle them. It gave one to the dwarves, and one to the people of Mooreland. They kept the other two. Soon new magics flurished like Minish, Imbue, Sokobu, Summoning, Necromancy, Dimensia, Cor, and Dran. These magics were spread across the world but were especially practiced by elves in the volcanic mountains. During these times Remnis was considered the weakest of all citystates for its lack of central power. Amur offered its help setting up a goverment for them if they promised their aid in the future. The people of Remnis agreed and after a few months had a stabilized monarchy. -The First Great War- Soon the people of Remnis would be tested for their word. The blue bloods had mysteriously decided to invade the volcanic mountains. The combined forces of Remnis and Amur marched into the mountains and destroyed almost all of the elves structures. The elves begged for aid from the other city states, but they recieved none. Still they fought back and held them away from their city for five years. In the end Irisis was destroyed. The elves either left to live in Nors, Mooreland, or wander in the volcanic mountains. The wanderers were offered a new home in a newly founded city called Coras. Some refused, and they disappeared. Further more many magics such as Dimensia and summoning disapeared and many forgot they had once existed. -Modern times- Its about twenty years since the great war. Remnis and Mooreland are constantly spying on each other. ---Magics--- Dimensia-The art of meshing the events from the various planets together. This often creates random effects because it never became a well developed magic. It disapeared after the invasion of the volcanic mountains. Although many scholars are trying to find the source of the fledgling magic and bring it back to life. Minish- A practice in which one would put there own blood into a shadow beast. It is used to remove the voice of Hueco from their minds and attache the users mind instead. This allows the two to have a psyic connection. Imbue- It is the process in which one forcefull moves their own life force from themselves into the world. It allows them to become a shadow beast. It is done by tattooing oneself with various symbols. It is considered a forbidden art because it subjects the user to Hueco's voice. Necromancy- Upon the death of anything containing life substance a necromancer would draw a specific tattoo upon the back of the corpses head/skull. As the corpse grows older more and more of its life substance leaks away making it less useful. It is considered an forbidden art because it hurts the natural flow of life substance. Summoning- Many used to practice an art in which they would switch a creature from this planet with one from another. This too has become a lost art and disappeared after the invasion of the volcanic mountains. it is said to be simular in cause of Dimensia, or just another more complex form of dimensia. Sokobu- The process of giving ones own life substance to another, thus killing yourself but saving the other. This can be activated by touch, intention of doing the action, and deep emotion. Dran-The process of removing anothers life force and putting it into a liquid state. This is considered a forbidden art but is said to be performed by marking the forhead with a special mixture of some sort. Cor- To put life force into another object animate or not. ---Rules--- 1)make a character description including name, race, unique physical traits, backstory, talents, weaknesses, rank in society, and personality 2) ask permission for important ranks 4)state your location at the beggining of the post and at the end. --Race Descriptions-- Humans- They inhabit the cities of Mooreland, Amur, Coris, and Remnis. Their cities are built with roman architecture, except Coris which is built more like the wild westish buildings. The cities of Remnis, Mooreland, and Amur all have comfortable lifestyles and good economies. But the city of Coris is considered a hellhole Dwarves- They look like typical dwarves. They can see alot farther then any other race in the dark and usually only use firelight to guide themselves. They often have trouble seeing in full blown sunlight. They build great structures carved from the inners of mountains. They are usually friendly to all those who are friendly with them, and most like to party. Elves- They inhabit the cities of Coris, Mooreland, and Nors. Shadow Beasts- As with all creatures containing life force they are not necisarily evil. But they do have the constant voice of Hueco in their head. Most go insane due to this. They can take any shape but there form always looks like its made out of a dense black fog and its eyes are always red. They form in grave yards when enough unused life substance gathers in one place. This lead to a practice of walling in graveyards.

Lol, Garret won't be a major char so I could easily change his name. In fact I only gave him a name because I didn't want their to be nameless workers or such. Anyway it'd be great to have ya in the rp. just post your character sheet if you still wanna join. Soon I might be posting indepth descriptions of various cities.
EDIT; heres the city descriptions they should be enough to give you a general view of each cities inner workings. Coris- Located in the volcanic mountains, it was founded after the first great war. It's population consists of elves, and humans. It is a imperial state of Remnis. Its structures are made out of wood taken from the artificial trees in the ruins of Arisis. Most structures have began premature decay due to the weather conditions and poor maintenance. Most buildings are only one floor and those that had more then one floor usally cut off access to higher floors. This is due to the poor maintenance and decay mentioned earlier. Art and music seem to be forgotten in this town. With booze as the only source of entertainment avalable. It has the highest crime rate and lowest economy of any city. A recently completed structure known as the Castle of Coris is believed to mark a turn around in the conditions of the city. The city streets hold no real organization and often confuses newcomers. Remnis- Until recently in history Remnis was considered a weak state but after they throned a king this all turned around. It is now competiting with Mooreland as a technological and economical center of the world. Its archecturual style is simular to all early human cities. Which is basically the realworld roman archecture. In the northern most city is their Castle in which their king lives. Within the center of the city is an massive areana. Only humans Live in this city. Amur-Amur's goverment is easily the strangest in the world. It is a polygarchy which means it has many rulers. It has seven blue blood families each take care of a specific section of the city. In order to do anything beyond taking care of the city they gather as a council and make important decisions. They share the same archecture as Mooreland and Remnis. Only humans live in this city. Mooreland- The city's population consist's mostly of humans and elves but occasionaly dwarves are found here. In the center of the city is a five story building which serves as the cell for the greatest oscuro ever to exist. To all of its sides are govern ment buildings which in turn are surrounded by civilian buildings. It has began spying on Remnis because they think their is more to their sudden increase in technology and economy then a simple government change. They are the free-ist people in the world and thoroughly enjoy their rights. Nors- They are ruled by an king and a council. Although the council has no real power the people often get upset if their king does not listen to their word. They have a gothic archecture. Nors located deep within the mountains. It has several paths leading off to special structures that make it so they rarely have to go to the surface. The most important of which are; crystal mine, iron mine, graveyard, oscuros holdings, and artificial farm grounds. The cities population consist of elves and dwarves.

Name Tyr Ragnarson
Race: Human Age:273 Appearance:Tyr is one of the oldest living humans on the planet. His looks do not betray his age. He is about 5'10"tall with a lean muscular build. He is missing his left eye as a result of the first great war. He covers his wound with a black cloth tied around his head. He has short brown hair and a well kept beard. He has a kind demeanor and a face of average attractiveness. Tyr has many tattoos. The most prominent is a tribal relief of a howling wolf on his chest. Whenever Tyr is within a mile of an Oscuro, this tattoo begins to glow. He has another tattoo of a sword on his right shoulder. Many runes adorn his body, remnants of his indoctrination into immortality. Tyr was born in Reminis 210 years before the great war began. He was a commoner just like his father. His mother had died in childbirth, leaving Tyr devoid of a female influence in his life. He originally intended to follow in his father's footsteps as a blacksmith, but fate would not be so kind to him. While in his late twenties, Tyr was traveling around the world, fulfilling his duties as a journeyman craftsman. While making his way through the great forests that blanket the land, he became lost. Stumbling upon what seemed to be an ancient temple ruin, he decided to bed down for the night and find his way to civilization in the morning. Tyr had many nightmares and was unable to sleep. Stumbling through the darkness, he fell into a pit. He fell for what felt like eternity before finally becoming impaled upon a large spike which seemed to float in the middle of the pit. It came as a surprise to TYr that he did not die immediately. His life flashed before his eyes as he waited to die. He waited for three years in immense pain to die, but the sweet release never came. After the third year of his suffering, a bright, glowing creature appeared to him. It possessed the body of a great and powerful wolf and the graceful wings of an eagle. It said to him in a language he'd never heard before but could somehow understand, "You have been chosen. I have lead you here. Your suffering has given you wisdom. I am here to give you knowledge and skill. Then, you will be ready to complete your task." For ten years he studied with the creature, learning the arts of magic and combat and the knowledge of the world. When he was finally released, he was given this advice by his master: "Look not where others do, there there is only fear. No, look where you must and there will be triumph." After leaving the forest, Tyr realized he had not aged one minute from when he first tumbled into the pit. He realized that he had become more or less, immortal. Not knowing his purpose, Tyr fought with the Dwarves and Elves against the Oscuros, helping to imprison many of them. When the great war began, Tyr worked as a mercenary, fighting for the highest bidder, which was mainly the elves. Now, Tyr wanders the land searching for his purpose and helping those in need. Talents: Tyr is very skilled in many types of magic and swordsmanship. He is one of the greatest warriors of all time. He can sprout ethereal wings and fly for short periods of time. Tyr is one of the few who know the spells to imprison the Oscuros. Social standing: Tyr is viewed as a wandering soldier. This is due to the fact that he changes his name every few years to protect his identity and his secrets. Weaknesses: Tyr is vulnerable to the dark arts of magic. Necromancy and soul magics have a greater effect on him than others. There is no equal to him when it comes to swordsmanship, but his grasp of magic is not unheard of. Personality: Tyr is affable and humorous. His long time in the pit gave him great wisdom. He knows much but tells little. Almost everyone who meets him finds him easy to get along with. Weapons: The sword of eternal binding. Every person killed by this blade has the essence of their soul absorbed into the ether. The sword essentially rips the soul from the body and uses it for power. Knurldon: Small metal spikes inserted into Tyr's knuckles put there to inflict more damge than usual from a punch. These are remnants from his days as a blacksmith. Armor: The raiment of Adon. A blessed suit of plate armor with protects the wearer from many dark magicks.
