I can't wait to see how this plays out...
a ton of Aes Sedai, two Male Channies, and a storm of street kids with sticks all at the east gate of Caemlyn.

Name:Matthius al'Torschk
Race:Human
Age:26
Gender:Male
What you are: Wolf-Brother

Character Appearance:Standing well over six feet in height with thick muscles he hulks over most. Close cropped black hair frames a pale face with a sloped nose, a tight mouth and a thick scar beginning at the left eyebrow and running down over the eye and ending at mid-cheek. His eyes themselves are bright yellow like a burnished gold and the pupils change from normal, black specks, to slim predatory slits almost at random. A large metal contraption is attached to his right wrist reaching from wrist to elbow with several throwing Knives installed inside.

History: Born the youngest son of a prominent and successful Shienarian Noble family, Matthius lived the typical life of a boy in Shienar, entering the army at 14 and fought along the blight border until his 22nd nameday. That day, after much festivities and jubilation,he received a massive bow stave made of Black Yew that was made somewhere called the "Two Rivers". After stringing the bow he left for the neighboring forest to test it. The blight does not forgive mistakes and folly's of youth, however and he soon found himself surrounded by Trollocs. Quickly cutting the bow string with his belt knife, Matthius prepared for a battle he knew that he could not win but was prepared to fight regardless. Curved swords and pronged tridents stabbed and tore at his flesh but still Matthius struck at the beasts, using the long bow stave like a staff, he fought back valiantly and even managed to fell two of his attackers. But fatigue, a repurposed weapon and his attackers got the better of him as the bow stave cracked from misuse, and the foul blades of the Trollocs' struck him and bore him to the ground. But before the killing blow could be delivered, wolves seemed to appear from nothing as what seemed like hundreds rushed the Trollocs. Many died, but in the end, the Trollocs were killed. His saviors surrounded him slowly, and one looked into his eyes before colors, lights and sounds erupted in his head before blacking out. Awakening the next day in Shienar, he found that not only was he alive, but the world was so much more vivid! The sky seemed brighter, sounds he never noticed were reaching his ears and smells took on a whole new depth. But it wasn't until he looked in his wash stand mirror that he noticed his eyes. They had become bright yellow, like those of a wolf. At first, he panicked, trying in vain to find out what had happened while he was unconscious, but all that his friends and family said was that they found and rescued him. But, after time had passed and he got the chance to think, he began to appreciate his new gift, enjoying the enhanced senses and reflexes. Suddenly, the lights and colors invaded his mind once more, but this time they were pictures. He realized slowly that, he was talking with wolves! So, he conversed with the wolves, and fought using his new abilities, and earned a place as a mighty warrior among the Borderlanders. But, when Matthius turned 25, several White Cloaks passing through Shienar saw him and took notice of his eyes. That night, he was abducted and found himself in a dank, dark room, confronted by a white shape. For hours he was tortured, the White Cloaks trying to force him to admit to being a dark friend. Years on the battlefield and Training to resist torture were put to the test as they used every tool at their disposal. Eventually, in frustration and anger, the Inquisitor took a whip and lashed at his left eye. The pain was extreme, and he almost lost the eye. But it awoke something primal in him. As the Inquisitor walked past, Matthius lunged and tore his throat out with his teeth. Tearing free from the confines of the chamber, he dispatched the other White Cloaks with a recovered sword. Finding himself out in the middle of the forest, he began making his way back to Shienar but along the way he became hopelessly lost in unfamiliar forest. Finally, exhausted, and bleeding from his wounds he collapsed. He awoke some time in the night, surrounded by wolves. Immediately, he felt that his demise was upon him, but rather than attack him, they dragged what looked like a dead muskrat over to him and began to lick his wounds. Suddenly, the pictures were in his head, and his mind was filled with the visage of a wolf with a heavy crescent scar. Moon Scar. He felt as though that were his name, his wolf identity. But, with his new identity came a darker gift. Prowling in the back of his mind was something....primal. It craved for him to cast off his clothes and take to the forests and begged for the taste of fresh blood. With sheer force of will and an indomitable sense of self, Matthius retains his primal side but silently questions just how strong of a cage he had put it in. Soon, he had the strength to continue and with the wolves to guide him he returned to his home land. Upon his return, he discovered that his family had been visited by White Cloaks looking for him. Fearing his family's safety, he fled south. He decided to go to Tar Valon, as far away from any White Cloak as possible. But upon arriving, people distrusted and avoided the scarred Shienarian. Finding work was difficult and when the Aes Sedai discovered his eyes, they began studying him in secret. Fearing for his safety there, he fled to the one place he could be sure Aes Sedai would not follow, and White Cloaks would not often go to. Far Madding. There, he found a healer who saved his eye and after calling in a favor from an inventor, he was given a wondrous powder that changed his eye color. Soon he began to search for work and after showing his skill with a blade he easily found a spot into the City Guard. But, as safe as it seemed, in the back of his head he wondered if how long it would last.

Thanks. On the back story, I never really liked the Whitecloaks, they remind me of an evil form of the Templars kinda. And making a Wolf-Brother was a clear choice for me, because a long time ago, I spoke with an Iroquois spirit man, and he told me that I was born to the spirit of the wolf. Pretty freaky.

Accepted! And you I can find a nice place for.

And I believe the Whitecloaks were meant to be similar to the Templars. They are blinded by their own faith that what they are doing is good that they ignore the fact they are doing evil. Quite amusing how similar RJ made his books to real peoples.

Don't worry about being too action-y, we will eventually get to a time when we will have more then we can handle.

Hrm, I have a question, not too pressing but still could be of interest in the future...

As our little story regarding the possible end of this fictional world moves on, can we expect to see the ability to make other characters? I'm not talking a whole cast and crew, just perhaps a supporting character complete with bio and description OR a foil in some way to our current character (also with a complete bio and description).

That actually something I've been thinking over for a while. I've actually been leaning towards allowing multiple characters, possibly two or three. Still trying to decide on that a bit.
Mostly I have wondered this because the series had Rand, Mat, and Perrin as main ta'veren, while here in this RP we have had only Reigner(Asha'man) as the Dragon Reborn, and newly added Matthius(Scrambo) to basically be a Perrin spin-off. Which left me in wondering what to do with Mat and (how I love to call it) Cauthon's Disease. Make another character or hope someone will play a 'normal' person and be pushed around into that.

With that in mind, I have been thinking letting people have multiple characters, ontop of the NPC's already population the world and (eventually) the Forsaken. As to when I'll be letting people have more characters...Probably the near future. Once I can finally put the Dragon Reborn and his brother on some nice Rails (yay prophesies). >_>

Anyway, I'm ending up going on another author rant here. ^-^;
I'll be making some dramatic post once Asha'man is around to react to something, and try and drag most of you along in the ta'verens wake to fit the Pattern's needs. =P
