Roleplayer Guild - Forum Roleplaying Games

This is an RP set in only a few years after the French Revolution. It does not take place in France or any other country in the modern world. It is completely fantasy. The reference to the time period was simply for, well, reference. This is a very complicated Roleplay that will involve many twists and turns. And by complicated, I mean complete control is being given to the RPers. Make a character using the format given bellow. DO NOT POST A BIO!! THE SHEET IS FOR CHARACTER FORMAT ONLY. AS IN WHAT CLASS, RACE, ETC. Character history will be devoloped in the actual roleplay. Anyone posting a bio will not be accepted. Part of Advanced Roleplay is character development

Name- Alexander Morganthal
Age- 120 (young for an angel. About 19 in human)
Race- Seraphim in training
Class- Battle Mage
Weapons-A long steel sword with a ruby embedded in its hilt. Two small iron daggers and a WarHammer strapped to his back. One of the officer pistols.
Elements- All. However they are not available to him at the moment. Currently, he can use Light, Fire, Sound, and Time.
Emotions- Misery and Glee.
Stones- Ruby
Spells-
Light of the Seraphim. Releases a bright Demon killing light.
Volcan. Summons several geysers of Fire.
Heaven's Voice. A Demon killing Sound attack.
Future Sight. Allows Future Events to be seen.


This is a bit of the actual Roleplay. I will begin when I have about 4 more people.


Time was running out for Alexander Morganthel. He was a loose angel from the kingdom of heaven and Lucifer and his men were searching for him. The Seraphim sent him to earth to help the ravaged country of Mira regain hope after Lucifer claimed the land for his own. The people were enslaved but many escaped to form a resistance to fight back against King Lucifer. They had no weapons save for several swords and stones. They had two revolvers kept for the officers and one musket for the sniper. The apex of the country was the location of the resistance base and they were determined to put an end to Lucifer’s reign of Darkness. Alexander was found running and panting near the base, attempting to escape two of Lucifer’s Shades. 4 shamans rushed to his aid and they defeated the magical shadows. Alexander was taken to the room of Comm. Eirheart where he explained his situation. The commander laughed at his story of being an angel and sent him away when a bright whit light filled his room. There, in the Light of the Seraphim, stood proud Archangel Alexander Morganthal. Son of the great St. Michael. He was taken inside where he was trained in the use of magic and weaponry until they deemed he was ready to fight Lucifer and his men.

A bit of backstory for how Mira came under Lucifer's control.

Years before all boudries were shattered, Lucifer attempted one more attack on the heavenly kingdom. He failed again and was banished to Hel once more. Deep in the pits of Hel, he thought and thought of how to anger God. Finally, he realized that the path to harming Him was through harming His people. He ascended into the Earth and began his takeover. He used his powers to merge all the land together and named his new Earth, Mira. His first love. Mira was an angel in Heaven and was banished to Hel alongside Lucifer on his first attempt to destroy Heaven. Mira could not survive in Hel and her Angel Spirit passed into The Void. Where Spirits go when the can hold on no longer. Lucifer used his influence and power to bring other Deamons up to Earth to rule the land. The Deamons took control in various parts of the New Earth and enslaved the Elves, Humans, and every other race they could find. The Deamon Lords are: Formailtos, Drinasod, Riggerdem, Wasqilrow, and Unilenio. Along with Lucifer, they rule the New Earth as the merciless Deamons they are.

If you don't mind having more people I'd be more than willing to join. Also what is your opinion on the battle mage, cause I've noticed many variants of it. I typically think of a battle mage as a being who wields a sword in one hand and the power of magic in the other. An expert in fighting with martial weapons as well as a strong spellcaster who can fight a wizard evenly, but only for a short period of time.

Other variants I've seen were Battle Magi being all offensive spellcasters... so I was wondering what your definition is.

A battle mage by Nordic definitoin is one who wields sword and bow like Vali but magi like Odin. So a swordmaster using say 3 elements? and 3 spells. The character sheet format is up top. And Nordism has no part in this. Also, there will be more that you can put on your profile sheet later. More stuff like the emotions and stones.

Seraphim's Weapons.

These are weapons sent to Earth by the Seraphim to help in the quest to stop Lucifer. You can lay claim only to one. the rest will be evenly distributed.

Light Showers (mine)
A revolver that holds an infinite amount of ammunition due to the fact that is uses Light energy. It's power grows weaker after several shots and must be recharged.

Sunlight Lance
A lance with a chain attached that allows the Lance to reach Super hot temperature and gives off a Deamon killing glow.

Elder's blade
A sword that can seperate in two and can extend using Deamon killing light energy.

Seraphim's Arrows
A bow that uses Deamon killing Light arrows.

Tome of Holy Thunder (Claimed by Atalantea.)
A Migik book that allows the user to kill lesser Deamons within a miles range

Hearted Staff (Claimed by General Doli)
A staff the amplifies all magik attacks to a super high level for a short time. Automatically gives the user the Earth elelment. If already aquired, the Super-Spell TerraDistricus is available.

Lucifer's Weapons
Weapons that Lucifer forged that grant imense power but corrupts your soul with every use.

Deamon Blade
A blade infused with Dark Magik

Deamon's sharpshooter
A musket that uses Dark energy bullets

Deamon's Lance
A Lance that shoots three Dark energy projectiles

Tome of Corrupted Winds
A spell that turns the user into a Deamon for a short time.

Arrows of the Unholy. (claimed by Closet.)
Bow using Dark energy arrows

Staff of Necromancy
Gives the user the ability to raise all dead for 5 hours within a mile range. Gives the user the Dark element. If all ready aquired, the Super-Spell LichIce is available for use.
