Name: Jordan 'Shakes' Leslie
Age: 30 Gender: Male Appearance: 'Shakes' sports a chock of blonde hair and a massive scar that runs from his brow to his right cheek. He is a very well built man and stands at 6 foot tall. He looks perhaps a little older than he actually is due to years of drinking and smoking, and as if to further this he is never seen without a cigar. ![]() Weapons speciliazations: Explosives / Demolition. At any given time 'Shakes' will be carrying a bandoleer of various grenades, from EMPs, to incendiaries and flashbangs. His main weapon however is the A77 Skytrimmer; a portable rocket launcher than can be used effectively against both air and land-based targets. The launcher is incredibly bulky, despite the label 'portable' and as such 'Shakes' can carry no other weapons other than a side arm. This, mixed with the extensive stock of ammunition he carries for it means he does not enjoy long slogs and is at risk of exploding at any given moment. As an added bonus ‘Shakes’ is a more than proficient engineer and can operate a flamethrower if explosives are not an option. Bio/History: Ever since he was old enough to know what it was, Jordan Leslie was fascinated by fire and the act of combustion. It bordered on the unhealthy and his parents often worried for his mental health, such was his infatuation with the process of destroying things. In time his interests yielded to the pursuit of teenage happiness, but he never truly forgot about the times he had wandered alone through forests looking for things to set fire to. Indeed his occasional forays back into this world of childish malevolence meant he made very few friends, and when this was mixed with his somewhat effeminate name his teenage life became almost unbearable. However time passed and Leslie grew up into a muscular and confident young man who, while still slightly scarred by his almost non-existant childhood, had found a true calling for himself in the military. He had discovered a place at last where his desire to destroy things in the most spectacular way possible would not only be accepted but appreciated, and utilised. After several years Leslie eventually was given the nickname ‘Shakes’, in part because he absolutely despised his birth name, but mainly due to the effect his explosives tended to have on those lucky enough to survive them. Personality: ‘Shakes’ is a gruff man who at a glance might seem aloof and uncaring, however this is merely a shield he has spent his entire life cultivating in order to protect himself from the barbs of judgement that he feels all others will cast at him. Deep down he is incredibly loyal to his comrades and dedicated to the military, although he will almost always be the first one to complain if something isn’t going his way. I think this game is going to be quite interesting. A pity that Spanky isn't on to give you the go ahead. It would be nice to read another intro IC post. Personally I would approve the character. Nice to have you aboard Haz.

lol yea I noticed that you posted it literally one minute before I posted this. I highly doubt you wont be accepted so it shouldn't matter really. I read it and thought it fit in just fine so I doubt it will be a problem.

Was playing a round in dawn of war, sorry. Nice skeleton, accepted. Gear up Shakes! =) All we need is one more person and then we can start, but if we don't get one soon, then we will start and have new comers jump in where we are.

It shouldn't matter. We can rp more aboard the ship or aboard the transport over to the other ship anyway. Preperation before a missions is always interesting to RP and it is a chance for great character development. Plus assuming the squad is more than 5 people then the other soldiers in the squad just remain nameless NPC tagalongs until someone comes. This way they can join easily after we are already in the other ship. It also allows for more than 5 players, unless of course that is all you want.
