Name: Kavrend
Race: human experiment Age: 29 Group: Travelers Physical Appearance: Standard attire: tightgripping clothing of a washed-out quality with each individual thread one of several thousand colors that make up the outfit. It tends to blend in naturally with anything he happens to be near. It is stain resistant, and rarely needs washing. Strapped to his wrists, shoulders, thighs and ankles are sets of blades, smallest at his ankles, and largest at his shoulders and thighs. Each of these blades can be retrieved from their sheathes in an instant, placed in his hands and at the ready. His typical shoeware is a pair of Moccasins with soft tread and smooth soles. Weapons: His daggers are the only weapon he carrys frequently. He is a decent shot with a bow, but prefers close combat. He has never touched a sword in his life, preferring the comfortable feel of a quarterstaff if his daggers won't do. Talents and Skills: Kavrend has great stealth and combat skills, and the rarely appearing green arms make him a tough match for nearly anyone that faces him. His weapon of choice is his daggers, which are constantly with him, however he does practice with a quarterstaff. Background: Kavrend comes from a tribe in the desert known as the Kamit-shaw. As the tribes main hunter, Kashit has become an excellent tracker, marksman, and stalker. In order to travel efficiently through any territory, the tribe Copt Woman sewed him his garb. During one fateful night, his tribe was raided by a mass swarm of men. As strongly as Kavrend fought to defend his people, they were all slaughtered and he himself was captured. After several weeks of agonizing torture and constantly being surrounded by devil worshippers, Kavrend escaped. Fleeing, he wandered, nowhere to go now that all he had ever known had been destroyed. However, one evening taught him just what it was that had been done to him. Late one night, he was rooming in the barn of a kind woman and her son when the kidnappers arrived to drag him back to their camp. The band lit the house and barn on fire, threatening to slaughter the family if he didn't come peacefully. Enraged, Kavrend didn't know what to do until suddenly two green arms made of flame erupted from his back. Though the flames did not singe him in any way, they were lethal weapons against his opponents. Realizing that he would forever be on the run, Kashit fled the house in the middle of the night, becoming a traveler forever. Hey! New to the site, not to the concept though. PM me or something if there's any problems with joining your RP as a first time poster here. Other than that I like the look of it. I wouldn't be here otherwise, eh?
 Name: Lucius Arvanus Race: Half-Elf Age: 24 Group: Murderers Background: (Paying attention, unlike so many others, to the introductory thread..) Physical Appearance: Just over 6 feet tall. Built like a swordsman, athletic and toned. His cloth apparel changes as you'd expect but he leans towards darker colours. He wears a tight-fitting chainmail tunic, boiled leather forearm and shin guards and shin high boots with reinforced steel toe caps. He also wears a worn cloak carrying a faded standard that never leaves his side. Weapons: Two short swords, a boot knife and a hunting knife. Talents and Skills: A hardened veteran of many battles, Lucius has acquired a talent for sensing trouble. Nothing supernatural mind you, but he's noticed that when his neck hairs stand on end bad things come next. He is a gifted swordsman and strategist and a natural leader.

I'd just like to state to Arvanus that not posting background info isn't the same as not talking about personality. mebe my character's become cold and distant because of his trials, maybe warm and appreciative of life. backgrounds will probably be reiterated through the roleplay anyways, so it's still not quite the same.
