I'll get a post up shortly. I've been busy this week teaching a preverted kid how to skydive. I swear if he makes one more comment about my boobs I'm gonna detach him from the tandom harness and push him out of the plane at 15,000 ft. So if you don't hear from me for awhile you can just assume I'm in jail... or fleeing the country.

Well, I'm on and I've read all the posts, but I'm not going to respond tonight. I just came from my martial arts class--actually, classes, as I went to three today--where I got my ass kicked in grappling by a guy twice my size and a belt above me. As you can imagine, I'm just a *little* tired and not really feeling the creative juices so much as the lactic acid that's going to make my muscles feel like they've been replaced with rocks in the morning.

So, my apologies for the delay, but I will have a post up tomorrow, probably early afternoon.

I'm curious, since those sensitive to auras of magic are feeling Fruendithas' aura grow, what kind of magic the man may unleash?

I guess while we're on the subject of magic, I'll ask: are we assumed to more or less base the possibilities for magic stuffs off of sources like DnD or WoW, or are we purely to our imagination within the bounds of 'no god-moding/be reasonable'?

A lot of lore about the Artifacts is based loosely around D&D, mainly because I find it the end-all source on all things fantasy (except maybe for LotR). That's why Falco, much like Fruendithas and even Zhillcrad, will use spells straight from D&D. However, you may be surprised what will happen before this meeting with Fruendithas is up.

Good question! Magic is as diverse as the residents of Aeolida. Although many people will base their magic around already defined sources (I often see Final Fantasy spells in RPs, for example), by no means are you restricted to these sources. You have it spot on: in your own words, 'no god-moding/be reasonable' is the only real restriction. And, as is with most rules, there is always an exception: At times, I'll give you all the heads up when you're allowed to go a little overboard with magic/abilities/skills etc.

Oh boy, I love surprises! They're so much fun as long as their good ones, not like 'I'm sorry but your grandma just died' kind of ones. And sorry it took me so long to post; I had a busy weekend and then when I was writing a response I got distracted by my puppy who got into an epic battle to the death with a beetle he found on the floor... I know, I'm way too easy amused.
