Name: Saffron Bennett
Age: 18 Gender: Female Height: 5'6" Weight: 132 Personality: Saffron is an intensely passionate person who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. A self-proclaimed hippie, Saffron firmly believes that meat is murder, we should make love rather than war, and that the earth should always come first. She can come off as self-righteous and somewhat of a bitch, especially to people who disagree with her views, however when she's not trying to save the world Saffron's very sweet and mellow. Biography: She was actually born on a commune where her parents lived until she was five. Her life since then has been fairly low key, living with her parents. She's attended tons of protests, peace marches, and other demonstrations of civil disobedience, mostly with her parents. Description: She has long, reddish-brown curly hair that usually looks rather unkempt and has several small braids, beads and hair wraps randomly in it. She's not conventionally pretty and never wears makeup or follows fashion trends. Mostly she wears long flowing skirts and tops or things that she's matched at random from thrift stores. Neverwhere Description: A brown leather corset covering a green shirt with long, full sleeves. A matching green skirt slit up to the bottom of her corset on both sides with a pair of brown leather capri length leggings beneath it--sort of druid meets Victorian. If anything her hair is even more wild with more braids and decorations in it. Weapons and Equipment: hardwood staff Last edited by January : 08-18-2008 at 08:06 PM. |

Well I have done it before, one of the great things that has happened is the world is so random. An i normally bring in everyones most hated villan from anything from a game or book into it because everyone gets there own personal battles and titles.
Though I was hoping that more people would be interested.

Why not? I'll join up.
Name: Desmond Cooper aka Des Age: 18 Gender: Male Height: 6'6" Weight: 190 lb. Personality: Des is a geek, pure and simple. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that he's the biggest geek at the school. He's constantly reading, paying his gameboy, or talking with a one of his few friends about some random and weird thing that he's seen online. This has made him a loner at the school and for his part Des doesn't really mind. He likes to be on his own and to do his own thing. Other people just end up disappointing his standards about how other people should treat each other. Other than his books and games, one thing Des picked up and loved from his boy scout days was archery. Unlike other sports, Des' glasses were a big help when aiming and he displayed a natural talent for it. To Des it was a sport that wasn't about raw muscle power, but of finesse and timing. It was and still is a a point of pride in his life, even if he is out of practice now. Even though Des is a smart student he has a lot of trouble applying himself i his studies and his grades suffer as a result. This doesn't bother Des too much though. He does just enough to get by and plans on doing that from now until the day he dies. In the mean time he'll live how he wants to live without being at the beck and call of demanding teachers, parents, bosses, etc. Biography: Des was born in a small hospital and lived an utterly normal life. His vision went bad early in his youth so Des found it hard to participate in sports with the other kids his age; even with corrective lenses. So Des instead turned to things like books to keep him company. Science fiction and fantasy were often his favorites and opened his mind up to people and concepts he never would have thought of before. He even began to think that he saw people or things from his books in the real world. When he told his parents they were quick to overreact and tried to steer their child to much more normal activities by making him join the boy scouts. It was seven years of jerks and camping before Des finally announced that he'd had enough and quit. It really became a time of upheaval when his parents both lost their jobs and they all had to pack up and move in the middle of his first year at high school. When they settled again Des had to wait until the next year to start his freshman year again. In the mean time he got a job at a local hardware and feed store and saved the money up for a car and to eventually move out on his own when he graduated. Now it's only a few weeks until Des' nineteenth birthday and he's more than ready to leave home. He has the money and he has his own car. Des is sure it's time, but once again his parents are insisting that he wait until he graduates, then they'll talk about his future. To him this sound like they're setting him up for some terrible news; he's probably right. Still, if Des can live on his own he'll do it without even thinking twice. Description: Des has an expressionless face with brown eyes, long brown hair, and slightly bushy eyebrows. His glasses sit high on his nose and are metal with small and thin lenses. Since he's had them so long it makes Des look like a different, vacant person when he takes them off. Des usually wears jeans, a random t-shirt, and some tennis shoes. He'll add a sweat shirt of a coat when it gets colder or switch to shorts when it gets warmer, but otherwise Des always tires to wear this set of clothes as it's the most comfortable for him. Physically Des isn't very impressive. He's thin and long limbed, but he isn't out of shape either. Working at the hardware store has kept him fit enough to be healthy despite his sedentary ways. Neverwhere Description: Des still has his glasses and long, messy hair. Now he wears a long-sleeved white shirt with black pants, black boots, and black gloves. Over his shirt he has a long, dark brown, open vest with a hood that almost falls to his knees. His belt overlaps the vest and keeps it from billowing too much or snagging his legs while he walks. Weapons and Equipment: A bow and some arrows

I'd like to join as well, here's my character:
Name: François DuMarais, known as Fran Age: 17 Gender: Male Height: 6’2” Weight: 140 lb. Personality: At first sight, François looks like the typical lazy guy with a problem towards authority who lacks any kind of seriousness or responsibility. He’d rather draw than listen to his teachers during class, and has a very recurring tendency of being late. He never has a watch, but always has his MP3 and sketchbook. He may also seem a bit irritating at times because of his random questions and statements. To the people who know him well, he’s a trustworthy friend, always willing to help, party or have a heated debate about politics or any other subject. He thinks much more than most people think he does, and loves reading philosophy, drawing and taking long walks to watch the sunrise, and has a weak spot for surrealism and randomness, as well as cooking, singing and listening to music from the 60’s and 70’s. Biography: François was born in Paris, France to an eccentric jazz musician and a librarian, so he was brought up amongst books and music. He was always somewhat of a clown, and never cared much for the way he looked, since he is quite sure that what’s essential is invisible to the eyes. He started drawing early in his life, and although he has never taken a course or anything like that, he is pretty good at it. He grew up being two different persons: a funny guy with not to many ambitions on the outside, but a sharp mind who always thinks before acting on the inside. As a teenager, he started taking a quite different road than his classmates and friends, and started feeling strongly against most social rules, that he sees as chains around the human mind. Description: (I'll post a drawing of what he looks like as soon as I get batteries for my camera) Neverwhere Description: same as above) Weapons and equipment: A sword, a sketchbook and a few pencils, as well as his tobacco bag and rolling papers.
