Synopsis:

Many years before the events of this story, an unexplained phenomenon destabilized the reality of Earth or an Earth-like world. This disruption caused an unpredictable fusion, binding together the corporeal world with the world of computer space. The result was the creation of a planet caught between the natural and artificial; a massive living quasi-computer system with mankind as bearers of personalized operating systems.

Things have changed somewhat. With the discovery and further development of the universal uploader, people now install many functions and abilities into their system. Most anything from as basic as a calculator or clock to whole changes of clothes or job-specific applications can be stored on a person's OS through a universal uploader and called upon as needed. The walls between normal and virtual reality have almost been all but torn down, and whole buildings and plazas can exist within the confines of the internet. The possibilities are limited only by the capacity of the individual to store such things, something that remains a tad limited but enough to be used judiciously to good effect.

Such is not without risk, naturally. The further development of new programs, especially ones to be used on humans, remains a slow and dangerous science, and now viruses and bugs exist as potentially dangerous animals capable of causing damage within the living world as well. Thankfully there are many strict precautions taken to ensure only safe products make it to the public, and current police forces prove fully able to protect from threats of viruses and criminals alike.

Note:
1. There'll be no cheating, munchkinism, god-modding, or any sort of unfair imposition on others without their prior consent. You're free to discuss these actions in here.
2. You are expected to remain in character at all times unless you have a need to control a minor character. At the moment, only antagonists are allowed extensive ability to create minor characters.
3. All OOC posts aside from small talk/minor comments are to be placed in the discussion topic. Players are responsible for reading any new content in the discussion topic.
4. If you don't know how something works, have an opinion to express, anything that you need a response to, ask here in the discussion topic. We should be able to come up with a solution.
5. Protagonists that are student Characters and teachers are limited to devices safe for public usage. Weaponry is unadvised early game. This applies to Antagonist characters as well. You have to think up of a way to do your evil deeds without getting caught red handed.

The city this RP is set in is Spazer City. A large metropolis booming with life from dusk til dawn.

-Here you will list all uploaded devices and tools installed onto your system.
-List each new device with some sort of indicator in front, and then describe what it is and what it does
-Only tangible objects or weapons may be kept. You cannot use your downloader to learn new skills.
-Unless given my express permission, you may not have any more than four items at a time.
Personality: Describe your character's normal personality, so that I may properly penalize you for acting out of character.

Name: Rimon Quenze

Appearance: Art by Christopher Hart.
Occupation: Doctor
Specialty: Treating diseases, both biological (For as far as they still exist) and digital.
Data:
Scanner: A device which he can use to scan bodies for virusses and diseases. Looks like a pair of tinted glasses which he puts over his eyes.
Medicine: A small case with standard anti-viruses and medical equipment.
Stun Knuckles: A set of gloves wich uses electrically charged punches, purely for self-defence.
Personality: A first class cynic and deadpan snarker, using sarcastic comments as a way of communicating. But also a perfectionist in his job, who can become quite distraught when he fails.
Bio: Rimon is a doctor in this strange, fused world, and has the difficult job of knowing about both physical and digital maladies, left him a bit stressed. This, together with the thankless task of being a doctor in a large city, left him cynical, with not much faith in other humans.

Name: Adrian Nathaniel Valts
Age: 12
Appearance: A young boy with messy blond hair. He usually wears his white pajamas all the time. Unless he goes to school.
Occupation: Son of a famous programmer and scientist. Fresh man in Spazer City High School
Specialty: Data and virus manipulation, Holograms, and machinations.
Data:
- Hologram device. (concealed)
- A small device similar to a laptop for data and virus manipulation.
- Downloader. NO weapon data.

Personality: A quiet and anti-social child. He likes being alone with himself.
Bio: After losing his mother at a young age, Adrian has closed himself to the outside world. His father, a famous programmer and scientist, created a new 'mother' for his son. Little did his father know, Adrian developed a certain affinity to viruses and other anomalous data. This was because of his confinement from the rest of the society. He also likes playing with model kits which led him to create machines with data. Now, he seemingly has gotten rid of his sociopath behavior and attended school.

Occupation: Teacher of World Exploration at Spazer City High School
Specialty: Benign/Defensive data-manipulation (for creating 'worlds' for field trips and keeping her students safe)

Data:
* Exoskeletal Shapers: Cyberstructure gloves which allow to to shape data as easily (or easier) than a physical object, i.e. drawing a disk before you to create a shield
* N&PBF (News And Public Broadcast Feed): Headset which allows her to follow anything broadcast into the public domain, as well as staying in contact with those on the same frequency
* Visualenz: Dual-function with the N&PBF, a translucent screen appears over her eyes and provides information about the surroundings and whatever you're looking at
Personality: Natalya is friendly, open, and tough-minded; you have to be, to deal with teenagers on a daily basis and not go crazy. She genuinely likes people and gets frustrated when she feels others are unnecessarily pessimistic.
Bio: Like most in the post-fusion world, Natalya grew up used to being "half-digital." Her mother is an artist who created mind-bending masterpieces in galleries around the world; her father was a SysOp with a large security-firm whose name Natalya never knew, but died in a mishap gone wrong. Believing her father wouldn't want her to grieve too long, Natalya did well in school (especially extracurriculars) and opted for teaching because she wanted students to know that the world was much more interesting than they thought.

-DNA Scanner: Looks like sunglasses, allows her to see the DNA of a dog to help her set up the best training and care.
Personality: Shy, quiet, kind, caring, gentle, and SMART
Bio: She was the daughter of a famous dog trainer and a well known Florist. Her mother was the florist. A year after she was born her mother created a scarlet red rose which had a black rim on the top of the petles. She decided to name it the Laila Rose after Laila. Now she always has one of the flowers with her(the flower in her hair). When she was 7 she took over her father's dog training buisness. As well as her mother's florist shop. Her cousin cares for her and helps with the florist shop.
