Major Gods
Zeus
The king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder. His symbols are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull, and oak. As a result, his children can talk to and change into eagles and bulls, as well as control oak trees. If in a life or death situation, they occasionally have the ability to call on the aid of the weather itself. They tend to feel the urge to help people, as well be good leaders.

Posidion
God of the sea. He created horses from sea foam. God of earthquakes as well. Also called 'Earth Shaker' and 'Storm Bringer'. His symbols are horses, sea foam, dolphins, and a trident. His children tend to have an almost pearl like complexion, as well as deep blue eyes and hair that turns blue around puberty. They can talk to any creature in the sea, as well as horses. They also have the ability to turn into any of those creatures. Obviously, they can control water and breath under it as well.

Hades
God of the underworld. Brother of Poseidon, Zeus and Hera, and consort to Persephone. His symbols are the bident, the Helm of Darkness, and the three-headed dog, Cerberus. His children are rare, but can talk to dogs and the dead. They tend to have black hair, and a love of the darkness. Despite popular belief, they are not evil, nor are is their father.

Hera
Goddess of marriage, women, and childbirth. Zeus' wife and sister. Appears with peacock feathers often. Her symbols are the scepter, diadem, and peacock. About nine of ten of them are girls, who have a strong desire to grow up and get married. These girls also tend to be vain blondes, with a fondness for peacocks. They can also talk and turn into these creatures. Natural enemies of the Aphrodite children.

Aphrodite
Goddess of love, lust, beauty, wife of Hephaestus. Ares is her lover. Eros is her son. Known as the most beautiful of the Greek goddesses. Her symbols are the scepter, myrtle, and dove. Her children are incredibly beautiful and vain. While they cannot make somebody fall in love with someone, they can put the hints in their minds. The more weak minded the individual, the better their power works. They also have the ability to turn into doves. Their hair tends to be blonde when they are young and slowly turn into colors like pink or purple with the onset of puberty. Natural enemies of the Hera children, and natural friends to the Eros children.

Hepheastus
God of fire and the forge (god of fire and smiths) with very weak legs. He was thrown off Mount Olympus as a baby by his mother, Hera. He makes armor for the gods and other heroes like Achilles. Married to Aphrodite, but she does not love him because he is deformed and, as a result, is cheating on him with Ares. He had a daughter named Pandora. His symbols are an axe, a hammer and a flame. His children, while not as beautiful as the other demi gods, are still better looking than humans because of their divine ancestory. They have the ability to control fire and are amazing blacksmiths with natural talents. Tend to be physically frail and are the natural enemies of the Ares children.

Ares
God of war, murder and bloodshed. Brother to Athena, and is the son of Zeus. Has an affair with Aphrodite. His symbols are vultures, dogs, boars, and a spear. His children have a warrior spirit and can talk to, though not turn into, vultures, dogs and boars. Amazing fighters who often, early in life, find a weapon that was made just for them. It is called their spirit weapon and represents them. This weapon cannot break except for whenever their person dies. They also know how to ride quite well, and are the natural enemies of the Hepheastus children.

Hermes
God of flight, thieves, commerce, and travelers. Messenger of the gods. He showed the way for the dead souls to Hades's realm. He shows up in more myths than any other god or goddess. Likes to trick people and is very inventive. Hermes invented the lyre using a turtle shell and sinew. His symbols are the caduceus and winged boots. His children are very mischevious and tricky, as well as very agile and clever. They have the ability to fly.

Apollo
God of music, prophecies, poetry, and archery. Also said to be the god of light and truth. Is associated with the sun. Also referred to as the most beautiful of the gods. He is Artemis's twin brother, and son of Zeus. His symbols are the bow, lyre, and laurel. His children are incredibly beautiful and are amazing musicians and poets, as well as great archers. They have blonde hair and are at their prime during the day, under the sun. Tend to have a nice tan and are natural friends of the Artemis blessed ones.

Artemis
Goddess of the hunt and wild things, and the moon. Protector of the dewy young. She became associated with the moon. Apollo is her twin brother. Artemis is a virgin goddess. Her symbols are the bow, dogs, and deer. While Artemis is a virgin and as such has no children, whenever a child whom Artemis likes is born to a pair of mortals, they get her blessings, making it as if they were her daughters. They are always girls, who tend to be pale with dark hair no matter what their parents look like. They are amazing huntresses who are at their prime at night time, and are beloved by dogs, who they can transform into and talk to. Unlike other demigods, they can talk to any animal. Whenever they are born, the blessed ones have a dog that somehow makes it into the family that is their protector and will live as long as they will. The best of them will become immortal and join Aremis's huntresses, becoming eternal virgins like she is. Natural friends to the Apollo children.

Athena
Goddess of wisdom, warfare, handicrafts and reason. Sister of Ares, and is the daughter of Zeus. Sprung from Zeus's head in full body armor. She is the wisest of the gods. Her symbols are the aegis, owl, and olive tree. Her children are wise beyond their years, as well as stragedical geniuses. They can talk to owls, who are extremely loyal to them. They have grey eyes and dark hair.

Demeter
Goddess of fertility, grain and harvest. Demeter is a daughter of Cronus and Rhea and sister of Zeus. Her symbols are the scepter, torch, and corn. Mother of the goddess Persephone. Her children can grow plants at will, and their presence makes any plants thrive. Their hair is the color of corn, their skin tan as though they had spent years in a field and their eyes are a deep brown. The children are extremely protective of Persephone's children.

Dionysus
God of wine, parties/festivals, madness and merriment. He represents not only the intoxicating power of wine, but also its social and beneficial influences. His symbols are the grape vine, ivy, and thyrsus. His children have purple eyes and hair, and are naturally quite merry. Have the ability to control grape plants, and can make somebody drunk even if they have never drunk any alchohol in their life.

Minor Gods-
Persephone
A goddess of earth and harvest, simular to her mother, Demeter. The wife of Hades, queen of the underworld. Her children can make any plants grow and have a strong love of flowers. They naturally look up to the Demeter children, and look to them for protection. Can be quite childish.

Eros
God of love and lust. Son of Aphrodite. His children are good archers, and are very attractive. They are natural friends to the Aphrodite children.

Nike
Goddess of victory. Daughter of Zeus. Her children are lucky and incredibly athletic.

Biography: Born to Hades 13 years ago. He knew about his father all along because he frequently visits him and his mother in the Underworld. He has looked into the depths of Tartarus and walked through the streets of the Elysian Fields. He walks over the river Styx. He is completely neutral to everything in existence, though he can tilt either way if need be and the situation arises.

Personality: Depressed, rarely ever happy
Biography: Garin is a straight A student only because he knows every thing that the school has to offer already. He is always depressed because his father died when he was 15 and his mother became an alcoholic. He doesn't get into trouble and he normally just dreams about happier times.
Opinions of the Demigods: Garin believes them, in fact, he had suspicions that the people at the school were not all human. He doesn't really care much and if they are nice to him he doesn't mess with them. If they are vicious then he will retaliate. His reactions depend on their reactions.

Personality: Self-confident and proud, likes nothing but the best, stubborn.
Biography: Lucia has had her powers for the whole of her life and has always known about her mother being a goddess. When she was first informed about being sent to a public school she disliked the idea, knowing that some humans dislike demigods, and that some don't even believe in them. But Lucia has came around to the idea, afterall, it's atleast going to be interesting.

Cool, what powers will she have?


Deek will have the power to control the ground (Raising spikes, opening a hole into the underworld etc.) and summon spirits to do his biding for a little while. The spirits he summons are strong if they are few, but the more he summons the weaker they all become.

Pretty cool right? Also, Deek is sort of detached from the world. He sees things in larger perspectives and to most he seems emo, but he isn't. He is absolutly neutral to every thing in existence.

Name: Vahn Posidion
Age: 16
Personality: Just like the sea. Wild, peaceful, pleasent, destructive, powerful.
Biography: Knew that he was a Demi-god since he was able to walk. He always stayed close to the ocean, every morning going to it and talked to the waves, hearing his father's voice roar out of them. Every night he swims in the ocean, talking to any fish. His eyes are somehow green.

Name: Jess Sanders
Age: 17
Personality: She normally masks her feelings with a smile, and really knows what pain is. She ignores the turmoil eating her away and instead keeps her spirits up.
Biography: Her parents died in a car crash when she was an infant, and since she had no other family she was put into the foster care system. Her brother was adopted into a different family who didn't want her. It seemed that no one really wanted her, so she's been living at the orphanage alone and seperated from her only family member (I might bring him in later if I can).
Race: Human
Opinions of the Demigods: She is very open-minded so she thinks anything is possible. She believes they exist but doesn't believe she has ever come in contact with a Demigod... although she probably has had a breif meeting with one.
Looks: (Couldn't find a picture, sorry) Jess has long, strait black hair that reaches down to her mid-back accented by prominent features; her deep blue eyes are always either smiling or masking her true emotion. Jess is normally accustomed with a light gray hoodie, with a vintage tanktop underneath, and a pair of dark-blue denim, skinny jeans.
