Ok i had an idea for a roleplay that would take place in a fictional city in japan.
The city of temptation as some colourfully call it,is a busy modern city full of the usually stuff.Its really no different from any other city except where it is.
Basically ill lay down the basics infomation for this world and you can roleplay your hearts out ^_^ .

Ok the city was built on a fault which is a split in the fabric of the universe.
Basically this universe exists as a giant door stopping a race of demon like creatures from invading another universe.Ours is stuck in the middle and was built by the ancient race living in the old universe.It was just by chance that our universe spawned life.

Unfortunettly our universe is beginning to split like someone ripping a piece of paper.The very first fault happened to appear under your city.Now demons who cannot be seen by normal people are trying to practically walk across our universe like a bridge into the old universe.
Of course the old universe sent its own warriors to meet them halfway....right on our doorsteps!.

The races dont really care who gets hurt both are stubborn beyond belife.
Now this is where you guys come in...

You can be either:

Demon: obviously physically powerful as well as versed in a number of offence magics.They are usually any shape and size but some of the smarter ones (the smaller you are the smarter you are) have choosen to give themselves human form and are even using humans to help them cross over.

Hunter: the hunters are the old universe answer to the demonic warriors.Those who were considered too violent or anti-social were put into action as hunters.They would leave there universe and enter ours to stop the demons.They unlike demons are basically human form anyway.
They usually have abilitys but rely more on there weapons than magic unlike the demons

Human: dont worry your not completly usless.Humans who are brought into the fighting have usually abiltys of there own.You can either join the demons or the hunters but either side dont like the idea of sidekicks.
Strange enough a human who has joined a hunter or demon can become a powerful weapon for them to use,so they become a team.If you want to be trainned you have to make one of them train you demon or hunter prove your worth!.

And of course its not all plain sailing for the hunters either unlike the demons they can be seen and need to blend in throughout there stay in the city.Meaning find a place to live people! see humans arnt so usless after all...but ask nicly or the'll kick you out! and remember hunters are trying to keep the damage as little as possible.so please don't everyone instantly start smacking the hell outta each other for pages on end.

Weapon of choice: (the weapon has to have a personal connection with your character//humans don't start out with weapons you can also add a weapon appearance if you want to)
Fighting style: (what ever you want aggressive tactical and so forth)
Short bio: (just a brief history)

POWER RESTRICTIONS:

Demons: a demon can have up to three unique powers they have a wide variety of powers and as long as its not god modding you can most likely have it
Human:All the human characters start out with the ability to see the demons and where there next going to try and break through,later on they gain defenceve or slight offence powers and if you can convince a demon or hunter to train you you can gain the abilty to become a powerful weapon for them to use.
Hunters:there powers are more personal and specialised they focus on powering there attacks or weapons than firing bolts of energy.A hunter usually customises there power and weapons for there own personal touch.

Short bio: Night Drew In. His Life Drew Out. Finding Himself In A Dark Place, And Hellish Noises Being Wailed At Every Turn, Gabriel Has Awoken In A Daemonic Universe.
His True Potential Still To Be Recognized.

Short bio: Yura's parents died in a fire when she was 13. she kept going with her life as best as she could. she learned to be quick and sneaky when she ran out of money and had to steal food. Now 18 Yura has her own job, apartment and is trying to get into college.

well all the human players start out with the basic ability to see demons and perceive when demons are going to appear through rips in the universe. and develop powers after coming into contact with the demons and hunters.Also all humans have just been introduced to this world of demons and hunters.they only discover them after accidentaly getting caught up in a fight or spotting them.

Appearance: this is not including the musical equipment
Powers: His power is being able to focus his energy into sheilds, giving him cover while attacking his enemies from a far.
Weapon of choice: A bow, that has been within his family for centuries. He calls it Lineage, because it's been in his family's care for so long. it can sepereate into peices because it's not a single object, which allows it to be concealed while carried. it's appearance Crystal Bow by ~suburbbum on deviantART
Fighting style: tactical ranged fighting
Short bio: He has been training to be a hunter most of his life, practicing with his family and friends since he was able to use the bow. His parents died in the line of duty, which made it even more important to be a hunter. He is willing to do anything if it means stopping evil demons.
