-Issac Asimov A man's country represents many things. His home, his land, his providing government. The Earth has emerged from two decades of a glorious expansion. Hundreds of hundreds of small nation-states have sprung into existence on once controlled lands, and with their expansions, once powerful empires have only grown stronger. Across the expanse of the oceans, political olive branches have been extended. Emerging from the glorious decade of expansion, nations have consolidated their alliances with one another. Lines have been drawn, nations have been forged. This is the story of these glorious nations. Inspired by Nation State Roleplays on other sites, I've decided to create another one here. War or Peace, Death or Life, Stability or Revolution, this is all up to you. Everything in your nation is under your control; You control the fate of millions. And all in all, it will be for nothing; But will it be fun? Hell yes! But honestly, I was never good at writing introductions to these things. Complete with a waterfront and flourishing downtown, it really is a sight to behold. Towering spires adorn the skyline, alongside with terraced greens, giving the city an all-together non-claustrophobic feel. St. Vesuvius: The Second largest city in Aciremia, St. Vesuvius is an ancient city, dating back to the old Namorian Empire that once controlled Usea. In contrast to St. Vincent, the city is cramped and old, but rife with history in it's restored brickwork and facades. But looks are only skin-deep, and the city has a flourishing nightlife and a very advanced "Core", running modern technology through old buildings for an unique fusion of past and future. Port Marcello: The Main Naval base of the FSA, this city is almost entirely military, but still carries the Spacious Post-Modern design of St. Vincent, with military facilities housed in Carbon-Nanocell based Geodesic Domes and other marvelous architectural and defensive feats. Port Alexander: The Import/Export center of the nation, Port Alexander is where the many 100s of tons of freight that enter and leave the FSA each day pass through. It's mostly warehouses and Post-Modern apartments complexes, with a massive underground facility that once served as a bomb shelter, but now serves as a High-Tech Nanotechnology lab and Commercial Facility. Archimedes Research Facility: Classified Tiberius Aerospace Complex: The main Aerospace complex of Acirema, and one of the largest in world. Famous for launching the Inter-Stellar Mapping Probe, an unmanned Orion Drive based probe that was sent out twenty years ago to map the extra-solar areas of the Solar System. Arrows of Apollo Strategic Nuclear Command: Built into a mountain in the center of Acirema, the AOASNC is in charge of the the strategic Bombers and ICBMs of the FSA, and also making sure that those same weapons never reach Aciremian soil when used by another power. Helios Energy Research Center: Where most of the "Energy Research" happens, the HERC is half-legit, and half weapons testing facility. Both the IS-1 Fusion Reactor, which was quickly adopted as a main power source in Acirema, and the Orion Drive came out of this Research Center Military Divisions: ALF: Acireman Land Forces Manpower: 8.280.000 Readiness: DEFCON FIVER ANF: Aciremian Naval Forces Manpower: 4.300.000 Readiness: DEFCON FIVER AAF: Aciremian Air Forces Manpower: 3.800.000 Readiness: DEFCON FIVER ANI: Aciremian Naval Infantry Manpower: 4.800.000 Readiness: DEFCON FIVER AAI: Aciremian Aerial Infantry Manpower: 700.000 Readiness: DEFCON FIVER ASF: Aciremian Space Forces Manpower: 270.000 Readiness: DEFCON THREE ASNF: Aciremian Strategic Nuclear Forces Manpower: 850.000 Readiness: DEFCON THREE Military Population: 23.000.000 Super Weapons: "Ketosis" ABM system Aciremian Land Forces Combining the ABM systems of several nations, with ant-bomber defenses as well as convention Anti-Air Grids and Anti-ICBM missiles, the "Ketosis" is almost an offensive system in it self. Along with these conventional systems, a mass Drone-Based EMP system can be used against missile barrage, disabling guidence and Aircraft Circutry, but at the cost of most coastal installations and a large portion of ANF. There is also a fledgling Phased-Gamma Burst system that has yet to see massed use for missile defense. 3x "Argos" Carriers Aciremian Naval Forces They said it wouldn't work, that submarine carriers were infeasible, but guess what, they built them, and they built them well. The latests in the Aciremian Carrier Fleet, the "Argos" class carriers are massive ships capable of full aquatic submersion for up to three weeks without resurfacing.
