((Okay, I'm going to take a shot at this one))

Hyrule used to be known well for its strong leaders and equally strong defense systems. Then Zelda’s turn to rule came and the standards for joining the Hyrule guard were lowered to below exceptional. Zelda herself has poor leadership skill, and Hyrule has been in constant threat of being crushed by other, more powerful kingdoms.
Link has known this for a long time. Whenever Hyrule was threatened, he was called upon to end it. Now he's finally decided to act on his own will and call a rebellion so that he may take the throne of Hyrule for himself and strengthen the kingdom again.
((Twilight princess land and game layout is being used for this role-play. Don't worry, if you're not familiar with the twilight princess layout and story, either turn to wikipedia, or I'll explain it to you.))
Rebels are gathering in Kakariko village. They are identified by a red ribbon they wear on themselves ((do not forget that!)) The villagers are allied with the gorons, who have the goron mines. The rebels may use the mines to forge weapons to aid the fight. The goron leaders will also send in goron soldiers to help fight.
Zoras will also be included in the fight to penetrate the moat defenses of the castle, and enter through the sewers.

You may choose a side in this fight. Already existing characters need to be played, and OC's are welcome as well.

Name: Maiev Dalinoth

Appearance: ((if this is a broken image, I'll find a better image hoster ><))Shoulder length, light blonde hair; green eyes, and light muscular build. About 5'2''.

Weapons and gear: Heroes Bow and a pair of scimitar

Abilities: A highly skilled archer, she tends to add poison to her arrowheads in the rare case her shots dont kill them off first. She prefers to keep her distance from a fight, but can show decent agility in melee combat with her scimitar.

Personality: Sarcastic and funny, and slightly impolite, she always has to be sure she's right.

Background: Maiev grew up in the rough canyon of Kakariko. The inhabitants of this village had a close bond because everyone had to suffer the dry heat and dust storms. She grew up with her father who raised her and taugh her the ways of battle like she was his son. She joined the fight against Zelda's rule over Hyrule because, like the other villagers, she was sick of the land always being in danger, and that towns outside of Castle Town were being excluded from luxury and such.

Name: Mai (known as Feather when a Cucco)

Race: Hylian turned into a Cucco

Appearance: (Cucco) Unlike other Cuccos, Feather is pure white. Even when she is covered in mud she seems to give of a soft white glow. When she is using her magic (see abilities) a black strip appears down her back, starting from her beak.
(Human) Mai looked like this before she was turned into a cucco:


Weapons and gear: None

Abilities: Healing

Personality: When she was a Hylian, Mai was outgoing and spirited. However, ever since she was turned into a cucco she has been shy and withdrawn. She runs away from any humans/Hylians.

Background: Mai lost her father and mother to a war; her father sacrificed himself to save princess Zelda. She lived most of her life peacefully after that, living on whatever she could earn by doing odd jobs. When Mai was 10, however, she had a nasty run in with a dark sorcerer. On a whim, the sorcerer turned Mai into a cucco, not only changing her shape but her disposition. After that she became known as Feather and became fearful of all humans and Hylians. On her 13th birthday, Feather learned that the sorcerer had given her magical abilities when he had turned her into a cucco. She could heal major wounds by giving up some of her own energy. Now she lives in Kakariko Village, and lives off of seeds, bread, and the occasional fish that the villagers give to her. Feather takes no side in the rebellion, she thinks that both sides have rights and faults.
