A little info

As some of you may know, this roleplay is going to be the prequel to Aewyn's own Advanced Naruto Roleplay.

If you didn't know that..
You do now. :]
Even if you aren't taking part in the Advanced roleplay, you're more than welcome to participate in this.

Now, those of you who are up-to-date with the manga will recognize what's going on. For those who aren't; don't worry. I'm going to word everything to try and not ruin anything large for you. :]

Storyline

The 'Secound Great Shinobi War''s conflict had the result of many deaths and left only pain and suffering in it's wake.. The larger countries often found themselves fighting to the death on territory inbetween their own home-lands. The constant battle did what was expected of war. Countries as a whole suffered as they were dragged into the fray without a choice..
One such, was Amegakure (Village Hidden In The Rain).

As in all wars, people die. Some of these people weren't even Shinobi.. Some of these people were parents of children too young to take care of themselves..
Instead of giving up and accepting the offer of death the war had offered this kids, three young individuals stepped forth as an example.. Unintentionally of course as they were only looking out for themselves..

Together, they relied on theft and trickery to survive, and for awhile it worked! But eventually all good things must come to an end and they realized they would need help to survive. Shinobi help. And as if some higher power recognized this need, a Shinobi from Konohagakure (Konoha/Village Hidden In The Leaves) decided to teach the three Ninjutsu incase the need to use it over arose.

For three years he stayed with them acting as a teacher and a guardian, but then when he decided they know could effeciently defend themselves.. He left.

Soon after, the three began to raise a sort of 'gang' that was intent on finding peace without the need for war. This 'gang' represented hope to the victims of war and encouraged others stranded that were left by themselves to seek refuge with them.

Amegakure had not been able to recover completely from the Secound Great Shinobi War, and with the recent dissapearance of the Third Kazekage, Sunagakure had begun to cross into other countries borders searching for any clues of his whereabouts. To such lengths the Sand Shinobi went that the other Nations had no choice but to intervene.. And this, the start of the Third Great Shinobi War..

A little more info
As this is Casual and just a prequel roleplay, the story isn't intricately written or anything like that.
Just a play off of somthing.

Anyways.
The roleplayers will be taking the roles of a secound 'gang'. Think about the movie "Fight Club" and how they had multiple "Fight Clubs" all around the world that followed the same leader. This is the same concept. There are more than one of these gangs but they all work for the same thing. To obtain peace without war and to survive.

There will be a time skip shortly after starting.
We're just gonna' get things right at an early stage and then get the ball rolling once everyone get's a good footing.

Rules & Restrictions
1. Follow the storyline. Don't try doing your own thing here. That means no, you cannot leave Amegakure for Konoha unless for some odd reason the story directs you there.. Which is unlikely.

2. No Godmodelling. Simple enough. Your character is not some kick-ass Kage/S ranked Shinobi that was trained by the Gods and sent down to Earth to avoid every attack and pwn everyone with his mighty sword of epicness.

3. Use good grammar. It's Casual, yeah.. But seriously. How hard is it to capitalize and put in a period?

4. Type the appropriate length. In this instance, I only require one measly paragraph.. Four good sentences or five decent sentences. You could do one-hundred sentences for all I care, but please don't type a ridiculous two sentence reply. I am not afraid to come out of your computer screen and demolish you.

5. Keep up with the roleplay. if you join, stay active. I know it can be hard and sometimes you might forget. I do that myself sometimes. But if you have a reason you need to leave, let me know so we won't wait three days for you.

6. Follow all the other rules that is expected of you while on RpG.

7. No flames. That's an easy one. No bashing others in any sort of OOC chatter.

8. Finally, my word is law in this instance. I make the final call on any matter that has to do with this particular roleplay.

Failure to follow the rules can and will cause your removal from the roleplay.

The other one is still in it's OOC form, but these two roleplays will connect.

You don't 'need' to know anything about either of them to take part in either of them.

Just have a basic knowledge of how the Naruto universe works and you're good! :]

Alright, just two more questions. So all of us would basically be missing-nin in that second 'gang', under Nagato, but not part of Akatsuki itself?

And is this basically in the Naruto timeline? Like, them becoming Genin and such?

Ryu, Not really 'missing nin'. You'd be in the village and would act to help your village, but as the official rankings will list you as nothing more than Genin at the highest (If you choose to be), you won't really have anything to do with traveling to fight in the front-lines.

Not 'really'.
See, you learn the 'hard-way' to be honest.

As you won't have any official training above the rank of Genin, you learn via scrolls in your free time, sparring and practice, and when you're taught somthing.

By the time-skip, i'm setting it so every character that's not an NPC will be close to Jounin rank in skill.

Also, to answer the other part. Spoiler This is before Nagato ever began Akatsuki. It's going to be during the time Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan were alive and doing their thing, but around the time Yahiko dies, the roleplay will end. The 'gang' during this timeline was not considered to be Akatsuki. :] Not just yet. This is before Naruto was born. Spoiler During the time when the Kakashi Gaiden Arc was happening, actually. If you know what that is. Did that clear up anything? :o
