Okay, here's the basic everything: Imrahil has joined the Overlord and is leading an army of roughly 200,000 men to Kelsos's keep. (Which is where all the lesser lords and Niamh are.) The defenders have roughly like, 10/12,000 men I think. Anyways, Imrahil attacked late at nith w/ his cavarly. They managed to do significant damage outside of the keep, and they captured Maka. When the night ended the rest of Imrahil's army arrived and they have camped around the keep, building trenches and all sorts of defensive positions. Maka escaped, and has returned to the keep. I hope that helps! |

Okay just to check this, this is what I think the layout is: ![]() That blue would be the keep, and that blue leading out of the back would be the "secret passage" leading out of the back of the mountains. The light tan of top of the dark brown would be where it is possible to stand on those elevated positions. I know we never said anything about an ocean/lake thing but I though it might be interesting if that's okay Asbestos? *Note that the men in the trenches are switched with the men in the tents for different shifts. *Sorry about this crappy drawing. I'm no artist, so don't poke fun! Last edited by UNORTHODOX; 01-19-2008 at 04:27 PM. |

Not quite, but I like the lake/river thing... erm.. how to explain this.. think of a bowl... then imagine the rim/edges or the bowl are mountains, and in the middle of the bowl is a castle/keep, now, imagine a crack in the bowl to the east, that would be the canyon, the walls of which are straight and easily climbable with some effort... I would draw you a picture, but I'm not good at drawing...

Ok I can understand how this battle is suppose to seem hopeless, but it does not seem fair that no matter what we do Imrahil seems to be there. Like I sent my men on a secrete mission to destroy the supply lines. Now I did not think 'i had to write it, but they would not just go right where the enemy was but as Asbestos posted they would find out a way to go where they would be undetected. I know that this fight is suppose to be tough, but its getting a little agitating. But I am having fun none the less.

Lol, sorry. That's the advantage of having so many more men. You can surround an area where your enemy is holding out. Imrahil had pre-planned surrounding them to cut them off from going anywhere. Note though, that Kelsos did have a secret path that he sent his men on, so they're away. But Maka's soldiers would not know of this path as only Kelsos knew of it. Don't worry though, Maka sent her best men, so they're unscathed and away. But on the fact of supply trains, surely you don't think Imrahil would leave them totally unprotected? No, they have like a small group of soldiers with them, but these men would be bored and unattentive. Another quick note, don't worry about the battle. Imrahl is about to make a fatal mistake that is going to claim his life. Enjoy! |
