Okay, before I start this roleplay, I'll have to lay down a couple rules.

Here are a few ground rules specifically for this roleplay.

You are required to submit a character profile on this thread before you can actually roleplay. Your characters will have to be approved by me before you can play. I want detailed characters that I can actually see the development, including a solid background.

Your OC is not indestructable! And I won't tolerate any killing off of characters, canon or not, without my permission.

Do not overpower your characters.

Due to issues with schedules, RL, etc., I'm going to make this a one-on-one RP until I'm absolutely sure that people will actually participate in this and not just refuse to post anything for like a whole month, etc. If you are reading this and you wish to participate, please notify me on your online schedule, availability, and whatever I need to know if you're a likely canidate for this RP.
I'm sorry, but due to many years of seemingly frustrating experiences with lurkers, and the like, I have no choice but to enforce this with a strict view.

This thread will also be the designated area for discussion of the RP. I can't stress this enough, but PLEASE REFRAIN FROM FIGHTING ON HERE. No one is perfect but I would like to make things more civil here.

Without further ado, I will post my character's profile, and the starting plot summary for the RP

Plot Summary/ AKA: the current issue in RP:

One of the army's generals is trying to poison the king to gain acess to the throne. Raine and her friends need to find out a way to stop this fiend before it's too late. Can they catch him in time and find out what his true intentions are? Or will a dark secret finally be reawakened and released into Hyrule's regions?

Eye Color: left eye is pale blue (she's blind in that eye) right eye is light brown

Hair Color: light brown

Speaking style: Blunt, gruff and often serious towards strangers, but kind, warm and respectful towards authority as well as a little meek.

General demeanor: Raine is often serious and a no-nonsense type when it comes to her job and duty. But she can be kind when tending to those in need and around her friends and "family". She often displays a tough exterior to protect the fragile interior she is notorious for. Close friends of Raine and His Majesty understand this is simply a front for those sensitive emotions tucked inside.

Occupation: Raine is a Lady Pursuviant (A pursuviant is someone who pursues wrondoers for the Royal Family, though they often track down spies and assassins.) to King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. She also is a student in the studies of the apothecary field, but she usually runs errands for the castle staff everyday.

Prejudices: Arrogance, know-it-all types, and big egos

Best qualities: Is good at fulfilling tasks, doesn't ask for anything in return for her duties and doesn't take advantage (like the bad taking advantage stuff) of her job

Worst qualities: Is prone to get angry if someone shows even one tiny bit of arrogance, is a little too serious sometimes, forgets simple things easily (such as not remembering where she placed a certain item)

Weaknesses: Can only run in short but quick bursts, gets anxious easily and can be quite flighty

Hobbies: Swordsmanship, studying apothecary techniques, being outdoors

Weapon: Sword, kicking attacks

Techniques: For now, Raine only uses basic swordsmanship techniques she learned from the guards and knights. She is still a novice.

Attire: Olive green tunic with buckskin boots (think of a woman's version of Link's outfit, without the hat lol)

Background: Raine was adopted by the King of Hyrule (Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule) at the age of one month, being found at the throne room's doorstep by possibly her mother *nobody knows who or why, though* and His Majesty took her in and raised her just like he had raised his own daughter, Zelda, when she was young. She and her father share a close yet inexplainable bond. Raine grew up with a loving family, knowing the castle as her home, but soon found out the truth at age sixteen, when she could understand the situation more clearly. She seemed to take it well, but she was mostly grateful that someone had the graciousness to take her in as part of the family. Raine is good friends with Zelda, and looks up to her like an older sister. Link is also a good friend of Raine, and was one of the swordsmen who taught her in the art of swordplay.

Raine strongly believes in justice, and to be more specific she will not kill someone trying to escape. She believes that giving one a second chance in life will help to change them for the better good. She absolutely hates seeing anyone--even an enemy-- getting killed before her eyes.

Raine chooses to stay within Hyrule, knowing what duties she will have to face in the future as a possible heir. She enjoys being outside of the castle walls but she knows in her heart where she belongs. With a loving and caring family.

Despite her fighting spirit, Raine will not kill others at all, only to give them a warning for an enemy to withdraw and to give them a second chance. Though most warriors, knights, and guards wouldn't agree with her actions.

Raine is usually an easy going person, walking around the castle halls to see if anyone needs help with anything, whether it be emotional or physical work. She always lets the maids and servants know that they are equal in her eyes and that they need not to bow or curtsy or do any other formal action that they would normally do in front of His Majesty. She secretly dislikes the bowing, since it makes her feel awkward and uneasy whenever someone does it in front of her. Raine is fond of doing simple, yet productive things such as studying, reading, writing, or even just sitting down to chat with someone she knows. Being the empathetic type, she is always willing to listen to other people's problems and give them a shoulder to cry on. But be careful! If you complain too much in front of her, she'll get angry. She also strongly dislikes makeup, perfume, and dresses and gowns, but she has a weak spot for percious jewels.

Raine has been known to show a gruff and serious disposition in front of strangers, but she can be kind and understanding towards someone she knows. If she suspects that someone is hitting on her, she'll simply show them her bad, sharp-tongued side.

Appearance: Petite but lean figure, hair always in a ponytail, lean but powerful legs, slender arms and a slender facial frame. Pointed Hylian ears small *chest area* and small but slender hands and fingers. Her lips are nicely shaped to fit her face and her nose is average size. Her eyes are two toned (one is pale blue *not shown in pic* due to blindness from birth, and her right eye is a soft amberish brown.

The young soldier bowed nervously to the King of Hyrule. He clutched the bundle awkwardly. He had never held a baby before. He had just joined the Guards a few days ago, and he never would have thought to experience an event like this.

"And you are saying that you found this girl?" The soldier nodded.

"Yes, my Liege. Outside the gates a few minutes ago."

"And what of her parents?"

"None, my Liege... She was found all alone in this basket..." The soldier gestured to a tiny cradle-like basket.

"Give me the child." The soldier handed over the baby. The King smiled down at the little one. The baby had been very lucky. it was surprising that she had been found alive.

"Father?"

Daphnes turned to see his teenage daughter walk up to him. Princess Zelda stopped in her tracks when she saw the newborn and her father holding the child. "W-who's that, Father?"

"I'm not too sure... this soldier found her in front of the castle gates. They told me that they couldn't find her parents anywhere. Perhaps she is an orphan child?"

Zelda carefully held the baby in her arms, her eyes sparkling. "She's so adorable!" She cooed to the baby girl as the infant rested her head on the Princess' shoulder. "Shall we keep her, Father? We obviously can't let this little one sit out in the cold..."

"I don't see why not." Daphnes smiled.

Zelda smiled as well before turning around to walk out of the Throne Room, "We'll call you... Raine."

Zelda was just about to put Raine down to sleep when she saw the infant open her eyes. She noticed that the left eye was a pale blue, a characteristic of blindness, while its right counterpart was a warm light brown color. Perhaps the baby was born with this defect, which was what the Princess suspected.

"You're going to love it here, Raine. You now have a loving family who will look out for you and watch you blossom into a beautiful heiress..."

Speaking style: Speaks Kindly to most people, his way just tends to make you like him. Usually polite, he wont speak crudely to anyone.

General demeanor: Generally he is calm person. When you see him, when hes angry you can tell, but he never stays angry for long.

Occupation: Castle Town City Guard.

Prejudices: Gerudos.

Best qualities: A Hard worker. Hes a good friend and is friendly and polite. Is very organized. Remembers small details. Extremely agile. Great cook.

Worst qualities: Gets in trouble allot. Forgets big things. Sometimes get carried off when in positions of power such as when guarding.

Weaknesses: Gets rather depressed when someone mentions his home. Woman(will never be able to be mean to them), except Gerudo.

Hobbies: Swordsmanship, logging things down, reading.

Weapon: Two long swords. One of fire one of ice.

Techniques: A great swordsman, he uses his agility to fight too the best of his ability.

Attire: When not in guard uniform, typically a Black and silver Knee length coat(think.. captain jack-y coat), with Tall black leather boots and a silver and black Leather jerkin under it and Silver and black pants. Two swords on a silver sword belt at his waist.

Background: Vaclovaunt was born in a small town in Hyrule. The town it self was pretty much nameless and nothing ever really happened there. At his birth he was one of two children. His parents were both there and happy. They had a ranch and he lived a good life there.

His father taught him to use a sword and how too fight while his mother taught him how too cook, sue, write and all those good things. So he ended up a good swordsmen who could really cook and do anything that needed to be done around his house. In there he also had himself some girlfriends and lived happily.

When he was 16 he was walking home from buying the family some cuckoos. Walking down a alleyway he saw the mayor of the town talking to a Gerudo. The Gerudo spotted him as he walked into the open, not really thinking anything of it. Though the Gerudo whispered too the mayor and jumped off into the night. The mayor then turned on Vaclovaunt and drawing his sword rushed at him. Vaclovaunt didn't have his sword but after a long fight he ended up wining by breaking the mayors head with a Metal Trash lid.

Afterward he tried to tell the people what had happened but no one believed him, except for his parents and family. SO in the end they exiled him from the town. So for the next years he spent his life going from town to town as a thief and a beggar. He had too steal, fight and do many things too survive. He even did a bit of work in a Bare knuckle fighting ring for some money. In the time he was out he still visited his parents when he could, having to meet in a place far off. At some point in his time out he also stupidly wandered into Gerudo lands and got captured for a while.

He ended up going to Hyrule castle town, where after a bit he actually settled down and got a work as a guard.

Appearance: Handsome, his silver hair and eyes are very near too white which sometimes makes people think hes blind. Hair goes down to his shoulders hanging loosely. He is toned from all the hard work and running and fighting he has done in his life.

Race: Kokiri

Eye color: Deep blue
Hair Color: Dark blonde
Speaking style: Wertal is very mature when he speaks, and he is often mistaken being older. He has a kind a warm voice which he often uses to tell stories to the other Kokiri's.
General demeanor: Wertal is very mature and is often mistaken by being older. He is hard-working and do what he has been told. He is thoughtful for others, and would risk his life for people he don't even know. Wertal is very patient, but when it breaks he can be very angry and get feisty.
Occupation: Wertal has worked on Lon Lon Ranch two years, and he love being around animals. At the Ranch he take care of the horses, feed the animals, milk the cows and gather eggs. He takes his work very serious and like it very much there.
Prejudices: Selfish and Arrogant people, and also rich people who gives a damn about the poor.
Best qualities: He is a very good friend, and is very good with animals. Wertal can be trusted and he is loyal
Worst qualities: Can get very short tempered sometimes if something frustrates him.
Weaknesses: Misses the Kokiri village allot, though he visits sometimes a month. He can get really nervous at some moments.
Hobbies: Riding, taking care of animals, swordsmanship and telling stories.
Weapons: A shiny short sword made of steel, and a shield made by the Kokiri's.
Techniques: Has a very great stamina which he uses in battle and can last long. He knows how to handle the sword and archery.
Attire: Wears the regular green Kokiri tunic with a green hat. He has brown wristbands and a necklace created by a friend. He has brown leather boots and a silver ring.
Background: Wertal was born in Kokiri village, and he was raised by his guardian fairy Moria. In the years he got the know the Great Deku Tree and Moria often took him to learn about animals and creatures. Once eight years old Moria got older Kokiri's to train Wertal with the sword which he managed pretty well. After the years he left Kokiri village because he wanted to see more. He then joined up with Malon and Talon on Lon Lon Ranch and asked for a job there. He was accepted and has now worked there for two years. He often visits Kokiri village and when he do he always tell new stories which facinates all the other kids at Kokiri village.
Appearance: He has medium long hair which is dark blonde. Deep blue eyes with some sort of brown to it, and pointy ears as all the other Kokiri's. His body is normal, thin and fit and he has a great stamina. He also has a birthmark on his chest.
