The Plot Line

The Hidori Academy. A presitgious middle school to college academy large enough to not only have its own island, but also its own town. Those who go to the school live in dorms that are more like apartment buildings than anything else; each dorm holding a kitchen, livingroom, and two beds. The school is renowned for its ability to keep students in school and help them find good jobs when they get out of college.

But not everything is what it seems to be at Hidori Academy. While human students are a dime a dozen at the school, there are... others.. who go there as well. They are kept hidden for their own sake, and placed within special dorms that no one else but those of their kind is allowed to enter. They are allowed to roam the dorms freely, but even their classes are in a sepparate section of the school.

These are the ones who aren't human at all. Elves, Demons, Vampires, and Angels. All of them are mixed together in their classes and taught not only the basics, but how to interact with humans as well. The only ones aware of their existance at the school is the headmaster, and the student council.

It's the beginning of a new school year, and the peace the Academy has grown accustomed to is about to be disrupted. What's more disturbing than that; however, to a few unlucky students.. is what they find themselves caught up in.

About the Races:

Vampires:
Unlike in other stories and such, vampires in this one aren't all evil. They still have a need for blood, but they are able to live in sun light and aren't allergic to garlic. Born from shadows, they are able to control things others cannot.

Available Powers: Mind control, telepathy, vanishing, controling shadows, levitation.

[Note: Only two powers are allowed to be used.

Strengths: Very fast and strong.

Weaknesses: Holy water, stakes through the heart, must drink blood to survive.


Elves:
Elves are in tune with nature and often have the power to grow plants and talk to animals. Naturally tuned with nature, they are able to control one element.

Available Powers: Elemental control over: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Metal.

[Note: Only one power is able to be used with Elves because of their natural abilities to control plants and animals. I.e: If your character controls Fire, it can't control Wind.]

Strengths: Swift running, innate ability to talk with animals, control over plants.

Weaknesses: Often too full of themselves (though not always), and generally disliked by Demons and Vampires. Under most situations anyway.


Angels: Angels are those who were born from having one or both parents an angel that lived on earth. Angels are naturally able to heal wounds and can often bring someone back from the brink of death this way.

Available Powers: Summoning weapons of power [i.e: swords, staves, spears, ect.], curing the sick, creating shields and barriers for protection, and mind reading.

[Note: Only one other power is allowed to be selected for angels because they are born with the abilities to heal and fly.]

Strengths: Able to fly fast, carry two people at once through the air, and heal.

Weaknesses: Often too willing to help, have problems being completely surrounded in darkness.

Demons: Demons are those born with demonic blood, mostly by only one parent, as true demons are not often seen on the surface. However, there are a few.

Available powers: Creating shadow bolts, mind reading, telepathy, invisibility, shape-changing.

[Note: Only two powers are able to be used.]

Strengths: Incredibly strong, they are able to carry massive weapons with little problem and are also able to take a hit very well.

Weaknesses: Often loners, they sometimes have no friends at all. Weak against holy water and weapons imbued with holy energy.

Humans

Humans are just that. Humans. Although they can know many skills (musical skills, fighting styles, ect), humans have no special powers. They can, however, hold special trinkets that allow them to use a power so long as they are wearing it.

Bio: Natsuki was only recently made into a vampire at the age of 16. Her sire decided it was time for her to set out on her own, and got her admission into Hidori Academy. She wears a pearl sapphire on a silver chain, the only thing that she has of her past, since her changing wiped her memories.

Description/Picture:

Bio: Mirei was born to an angel mother who fell for a young male human, their love was love at first sight and he was a professional weapon producer. She'd lived a good life with them, blissfully unaware that her mother planned to ship her to the school for the human and the gifted that she'd gone to herself long ago, the departure was sorrowful, but without any tears on Mirei's part, she swore to be strong, both for her sickly father and her frail mother. She'd been attending Hidori for not too long by now.

Anything Else?: Mirei loves to fight, no matter what it takes, who it's against, even a sparring dummy, she has to do it. Of course, she'd never recklessly engage a fight with someone she either knew she would win against, or someone she would seriously hurt. However, she can't go without the casual dance of death for long, or she begins to act like a vampire being kept off blood, albeit that'd be damn well near impossible.

Bio: Within her infancy, Yhael was abandoned at the Academy in a basket of burnt rose branches, twisted delicately around her form. The poor baby was taken in immediately, raised up by one of the Acedemy's teachers who had always wanted a child. This gave her an edge over most of the other students, since she was raised by a teacher- how better of a start could that be?

Yhael's skills come in the creation of large bolts of demonic energy which can paralyze the target. Her mind reading powers, however, are even stronger than these bolts. She is able to pierce most wills, though she has to put a good effort into any being with a holy item or holy energy.

Paralyzing is fine. And they probably would, but for the sake of the rp and keeping arguments down, I'd like people not to blow each other up ^_^. Besides. The plot kinda calls for all of the people in it to be sorta friends in order to fight what's gonna happen.

Also, we have 3 girls already, so I'd like to get a couple of guys in here as well.

Name: Redox Bloodblade.

Race: Half-Demon
Power(s): Electrokenesis and Greatly increased body endurance ( can endure alot of pain and run for very long and so on.)
Role: New kid
Description/Picture:This guy
Bio: Redox was an unatural demon, wasn't like the others. He didn't grow to be as strong as his other relatives. but instead of strength, developped toughness and endurance. He also gave up any powers usually used by his reletives, instead wanted to be more element oriented. He practiced using Electrokenesis instead of the traditional shadow bolt or mind reading. Theother demons in his family didn't really accept his choice, feeling like he was going to be dishonored by his chosenpath. but his family lived with it, but reminded him f the demons traditional style of magic and training.
Anything else?: Isn't very strong for a demon, nor does he look like one. The only thing that was really out of the ordanary about his was his unatural blue colored eyes, which seemed like running water.
