All angels are pacifists right? Wrong. All demons are sadists and are evil in ever way right? Wrong. Every fallen angel is as evil as sin right? Wrong. The truth of much is not what one would expect.

As one might guess, Paradise Found sounds similar to Paradise Lost, but its found now...

In the beginning of time, an angel who was the last of his kind and was known as God, achieved great power and recreated more of his kind in an attempt of survival. Among the first of these were the angels Michael(a seraphim), Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. Those five were considered the most powerful of all the angels that served "God" and were named the archangels. Each of the archangels wielded the power over two elements, one was light and the other varied between them. Gabriel wielded the element of wind, Uriel wielded the element of earth, Raphael wielded the element of water, Michael wielded the element of fire, and the seraphim Michael wielded the element of darkness. The seraphim Michael and his friends began to disagree with Michael, Gabirel, Raphael, and Uriel rather quickly. This caused great tension on God, who was already worried about the angels who were becoming known as the fallen and they resided in Limbo whilst only the heavens existed. One day, one of the new fallen was the son of Gabriel. This broke Gabriel's heart, and was very much struck with grief. God decided that he had to do something about it, so he began to create the beginnings of a new race. Upon his explanation of this to the seraphim Michael and the angel Gabriel, Michael was overwhelmed with anger. He hated Gabriel and his friends, yet God loved them most. So the seraphim Michael and his friends rebelled against God and fought a war against him in heaven and limbo. Limbo had the most casualties for some unknown reason.

The ones who followed the Seraphim Michael were greater in number than the angels of God, but with Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel fighting for God, the war ended soon. Using the power of God, Michael had the power to kill the whole of the remaining rebels, but he showed sympathy for the seraphim Michael aka Lucifer. Using the power of God, Michael stripped away the angelic qualities of the rebels' wings, stripped their powers of light, and turned them into a new race known as demons. Michael then banished Lucifer and his forces to a world that Michael created, one of fire. Upon casting Lucifer and the demons in hell, Michael closed and sealed the gates of hell shut with the aid of God's power and that of the four remaining great archangels (Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel.)

When the archangels returned to heaven, God was furious with Michael and wanted him to pay for his betrayal. Gabriel convinced God that Michael was a good angel and did what he did out of pity and sympathy. Michael was still punished, but he was not killed and was not hurt. He recieved his punishment after God created earth, created mankind, and after the fallen were sent to earth as well. He has not be heard of since.

It is now the year 2008. On July 15, the angel known as God died. Without his existence, the gates of hell have become unsealed, the curses laid upon the fallen angels and demons have been removed, and a great shadow lays rest over the land. With Michael still missing and with Raphael and Uriel trying to maintain leadership over the angels, the left hand of God, Gabriel is charged with the task of finding a way to combat the danger of the times now.

Rules:
Causual Forum rules, cussing is allowed in moderation, gore is allowed, romance is allowed but nothing sexual, you must post in the OOC before the IC, either me or Astareal must accept you, every character must start out with no control over their powers and their powers must be weak to start the rp with. This is a modern rp, so modern technology. Archdemons, archangels, fallen archangels, and nephilims from those races are allowed to use a arch-(your race) sword which is unique to each character, is charged with their element, and appears out of thin air.

Your character may not be Lucifer(he must stay in hell), an offspring of Lucifer, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Michael(only me and Astareal know why), an offspring of Gabriel(there is a reason), or a preexisting character that is not in the stories of angels and demons in biblical texts. Such as no Sparda.

Personality and bio will be shown in the rp throughout posts. Btw, all angels in rp cannot of come from heaven when God died, they must of been on earth, which would means that they all were asleep for the last 500 years. Same with the fallen angels, but the fallen have been asleep in hidden place for 2000 years. They woke up at varying times. You have freedom over other aspects. Well, apply and u will probaly get accepted.

Appearance: Crowley has dark hair and good cheekbones and he wears snakeskin shoes, or at least presumably he is wearing shoes, and he can do really weird things with his tongue. And, whenever he forgets himself, he has a tendency to hiss. He also doesn't blink much"
Weapon: Arch-demon sword, black as the night, and so sharp it makes razor blades seem dull.

Crowley is unusual among demons in that he, as he puts it, "hadn't meant to Fall. He'd just hung around with the wrong people." He disapproves of many things about Heaven, but isn't very enthusiastic about Hell either; ultimately he prefers Earth to either one. Also as he states, Crowley is an angel who did not so much fall as saunter vaguely downwards.

by the way LaVentNoir, only archangels, archdemons, archfallen and the nephilim and half demons of them can wield arch weapons. Take that off your character and you are accepted

Micha awoke in the year 1903, lying in a hospital in San Fransico. Having apparently suffered from multiple burn wounds, broken bones and suffered from severe internal hemorrhaging. At the time, his recovery was considered a miracle... the fact that he had no memory paling in comparison to his remarkable survival. the only thing that anybody knew about him was his name, at least half of it anyway. Micha: the rest of the name tag in his shirt having been burnt to cinders

In an age where news traveled slowly and motor vehicles were non existent, this phenomenon merely became a local myth over the years after Micha left in search of his identity. Over a decade passed and still Micha had no clue of his past, the only thing he'd learnt was that he didn't age like other people, and that he still healed at an extraordinary rate

When the Great War erupted, Micha volunteered for the British Army. Having been living in England for two years he was accepted quickly. Micha soon discovered that even bullets were unable to kill him outright and fell into despair. Knowing nothing of his past, having nobody recognize him on his trials and having to constantly move to avoid questioning about his apparent lack of aging Micha fell into a state of extreme apathy.

Micha volunteered for service in World War 2, this time in the employ of the French Foreign legion and saw service in some of the most dangerous regions of the war. This time, Micha was trying to find death. Unable to age, lonely and unfulfilled Micha was sick of life.

Now, Micha lives life the best he can... often working menial jobs for cash to fund his travels he lives an empty existence, making friends he will live to see die and never knowing why he is cursed with this burden of life.

Azreal was once revered and feared. The incarnation of death itself he was Gods divine will amongst the masses. Clever, Wise, Strong and possessed of the single minded will needed to slaughter nations it was he that visited Cairo in the days of the Pharoh, He who brought forth the flood that cleansed the world at the will of god and he who collected the souls of the strong, the weak and the immortal alike. All that changed when Lucifer rebelled, the Devil's whispers ran through Azreal's mind, Philosophical thought replaced blind devotion and Azreal began to question his lord. Angry at his insubordinance, god ordered Gabriel to cast down Azreal to the mortal plane, strip him of his powers and let him remain on the barren world, a world where man was hardly more than a walking ape. Azreal escaped; fighting his way out of captivity he reached the mortal world of his own will, weakened but alive with both memory and some remnants of his once mighty power intact. Now he waits, waits for the war to begin anew... and this time he's open to the best offer.
