Timeline AAAAAA Character Sheet BBBBBB Technology Levels CCCCCC Faction abilities DDDDDD 1759 BRB (before rebirth) (2759 AD) ; a nuclear war was started. Given the level of human technology, the entire earth was forced into a wasteland, unable to suport human life. 1700 BRB; The war spread to other inhabited worlds, quickly destroying all current life support systems on the planets. 1630 BRB; war escalated to the far reaches of the Oort cloud, fueled by the minerals in the large asteroids. 1500 BRB; War completely left the solar system, as the asteroids ran out of useful minerals. 1200 BRB; The life that survived the destruction from the human war began to feel the long term effects, as they began to mutate on a large scale. 700 BRB; Humanoid beasts began to develop. 400 BRB; Technology began to develop, in order to create weapons stronger than stone, teeth, and claws. This was largely opposed by many humanoid animals, and the creators were persecuted. 100 BRB; Technology gained a strong foothold, and the beasts gathered in large groups to fight the technology users. 0 RB; Magic was discovered, giving those who refused technologys violent hold a way to fight back against the increasingly human like technology users. 50 RB; Total war came to fruition, though the magic users (known as the Natural Legion) were careful to maintain nature. The technology users (known as the Order) had no such reservations. 100 RB; A third group came to fruition, known as the Idealists. They combined rudimentary technology with magic in order to create a deadly combination. The Order considered them weak for refusing to take technology to its limits. The Natural Legion considered them dangerous due to the likely misuse of power. Character creation sheet; Name; Get creative with this. you got three, completely unknown cultures to pull from. Gender; Age; In equivalent human years Race; Feel free to make your own, or use a commonly established fantasy race. Humans are not allowed. Keep it balanced. Faction (first to claim it can lead the faction) ; Order, Natural Legion, Idealists. Appereance; (include weapons) a pic will work just fine, add in extra details if its intended to simply be close. Training; assassin, commando (hit them fast and hard, likely to die on own), frontline soldier, Medic, developer (creates new technology, magic, or assists in combination(third only allowed to idealists)), spy. Family background; nobility, army, middle class, poor, slave History; doesn't need to be big. Technology levels Order; 1800's Natural Legion; 500's Idealists; Late 1400's Faction abilities Order; Bows are common, due to the small amount of natural resources to work with. Guns are given to high level officers or rich families. armor is usually avoided, due to how it conducts magic, though is used when fighting Idealists. Healing wounded troops takes longer, but medics can work for longer. Horse like beasts are used as cavalry, due to the races comprising the Order being weak. Blunt instruments are often used for melee, due to decent swords being hard to get. Natural Legion; Bows are given to all troops, often from a very strong tree. claws and teeth are used as melee, though some troops are large enough to simply swing a tree. Medics use up energy healing troops, resulting in troops being healed quickly, and often on the battle field, but medics can only heal so much. They often keep certain plants that, when ingested, give a preformence boost to magic, but later place the body under stress, resulting in medics used almost exclusively in battle. No cavalry, as the only ones slow enough too need it are too big to use it. Magic is used most commonly for support, though many troops can cast a few basic offensive spells. Idealists; Bows very common, though not all are given. Cavalry is used rarely, and longbows are used to pierce all but the most powerful of order armor. Swords are common, though are rarely in good condition. Catapults exist, though are usually built on the spot, then taken apart and used for other things. Medics generally rely on surgery to treat troops, though field medics often treat the troops in battle. Offensive magic is uncommon, but not rare. That's all i can think of.
