Well if you haven't stopped reading until now the big part comes, creating you! Notes: You get your Relic later in the game by an event generated by the GM. Don't worry it will happen pretty soon, but until then your skills will be "Average Knight". Character Sheet: General === Name: Character name, second name included Alignment: Good/Evil and Lawful/Unlawful Sex: Male/Female Age: From 18-60 Reference/description: A picture resembling your hero OR a very good description. History: A little piece of what your character did before the campaign. Doesn't need to be long. Personality: A few keywords are enough, the personality will show during the roleplaying ;D Secondary Talents: General talents (No things like swords fighting but secondary talents like cooking, drawing etc.) Rank === Relic/Class: Choose your Relic type. The relic you pick was of a certain hero class, and will give you the abilities of that hero and skills. This can be counted then as your class. You can have only one Relic, even if you pick one up from someone who died you won't be able to use it. Remember you get your relic in the story line, not at the beginning! Longsword/Katana/Rapier
Knight - The balanced class. This means that the hero of the relic was a knight. A knight is a pretty all round balanced fighter, a agile but powerful warrior. Usually noble loyal and reserved. The only class being able to have a shield. Basically you constantly give your mana to this sword, and it shines in a certain color having a huge aura. The blade will cut through anything that isn't alive with no problems, and gives severe damage to the enemy. It should be seen as constant shot energy beams in form of a blade. You also can also shoot a limitless huge beam at your enemy. This will end the Trait and take all your Mana away. You can have only one Holy Blade trait. Holy blade - Curse of purity - Duration: Always effective This trait doesn't cost a significant amount of Mana, if your mana is higher than zero you can use this without limits. Your weapon is cursed with potion, if your enemy is wounded by this blade anywhere but the limbs he'll poisoned. All his stats will lower a class. You can have only one Holy blade trait. Holy Blade - Matter Modification - Duration: One shot attack This trait cost half the normal mana. The metal of you sword will change shape in any form you wish and it may turn or shoot towards your enemy while you still hold your handle. If it hits anything, it will return back to the normal shape it was. This attack is very quick. You can have only one Holy blade trait. Holy Blade - Aced shot - Duration: One shot attack This trait costs half the normal mana, however you can use it only four times in one battle. You think where the blade must hit, and you slash at your opponent. The blade will do anything to hit that place. Anything. This attack can't be evaded, only (very hardly) blocked. Eye of the mind - Duration: Whole battle This changes your instinct into class EX. You can see everything in 20m around even if there are physical interferences. It also allows you to be calm during a battle. This is helpful against concealments too. Slash Illusion - Duration: One shot attack You slash the enemy using this trait, however he will see your movement one second before you'll do it. He will be able to see you movement, but he'll be only able to see your movement. He won't be able to see the actual attack, and that may catch him of guard when the attack passes through his sword and suddenly the real clash comes out of nowhere. Once the enemy sees the attack you cannot change the attack that you'll do. This trait lasts for as long as you continue slashing. So it's better to use this with many slashes following up, to use the maximum capacity of this attack, and it will confuse your enemy more. However if the enemy has perception, he can understand that your attack is a trait and learn to evade it. Also if you have concealed your weapon, the enemy won't be able to see the illusion as well. This casts Illusion and Confusion on your enemy as long as it is used. Shield - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. You gain a shield. It's size is from your neck to your ankles. It can be in any shape and form, but it can't be offensive. It surely helpful in defending. It is recommended to take the Shield of life trait if you take this one. If you choose to wear a shield your strength and agility drops a half class (B ---> B-) for the shield is heavy, and you can hold you sword with only one hand Shield of life - Requires the Shield trait - Duration: A few minutes The shield changes into holy light, and it will auto-heal you from each wound you'll get. Also since the shield is made of light, the drawbacks of Shield are gone. Perception - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. You can understand every trait/spell/attack you see. This gives you a edge in battle for you know what to expect and how to counter it. This doesn't mean you can use the technique. Also this doesn't mean you can always counter it. You can see a bullet fly towards you, and understand under which angle it flies and where it will hit, but you won't be able to evade it. You can only understand an attack if you have seen it from the beginning. If you don't see the beginning, but everything except for that you won't understand the attack. Weapon Concealment - Duration: Once used, until dispelled You can make your weapon/shield invisible making attacks very hard to evade. Only someone with Agility of class A has a chance of evasion. The enemy cannot "Percept" your weapon, and therefore not understand it. This trait only conceals your blade, thus if you shoot an energy beam or you weapon emits one, that won't be concealed. Only Instinct A+ or higher can see it. When the weapon is re summoned it is visible again. Presence Concealment - Duration: Once used, until dispelled or attacked You can conceal yourself, however your weapon will appear if used. If you just watch someone he won't see you. Only Instinct A+ or higher can see you. Bravery - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. The will to fight, and all mental illnesses (Confusion, poison, illusion etc...) will be ignored. Even if the situation would make a normal player retreat you may continue fighting. This requires being lawful. Godlike strength - Duration: Whole battle Changes strength into A+ for the length of the battle. This is useless with the Broad Sword class, for it already has Monstrous strength. Auto-Heal - Duration: One shot This costs no mana. After a minute they are inflicted all exterior wounds heal. The enemy doesn't know whether this is Auto-Heal or an advanced heal technique, unless he or she has perception. The inner wound will still be there, slowing you down. But it won't hurt as much and the wound can't be opened further.Summoning of Blades - Duration: One shot This trait costs almost no mana, if you have more than 0 mana you may use this. You can summon your blade at any moment, and you may have three copies of it at once. If you summon a fourth, the oldest copy will disappear. Broadsword/Axe-blade/Mace-Blade
Berserker/Heavy Armored Knight - The "strongest" class. A very offensive orientated soldier, and his agility is lower than of the other classes. The attacks he performs are slow but final. The weapon is two handed and large. Twice to three times as big as a normal adult. You may be one and a half times as big but then you'll wear a heavy armor. You can think, but not retreat etc. It neglects (yours) eye of the mind, Sadism and any mental illnesses. Makes Instinct to class E-. Eye of the mind - Duration: Whole battle This changes your instinct into class EX. You can see everything in 20m around even if there are physical interferences. It also allows you to be calm during a battle. This is helpful against concealments too. Bravery - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. The will to fight, and all mental illnesses (Confusion, poison, illusion etc...) will be ignored. Even if the situation would make a normal player retreat you may continue fighting. This requires being lawful. Monstrous strength - Duration: Whole battle Changes strength into A+ for the length of the battle. This is useless with the Broad Sword class, for it already has Monstrous strength. Sadism - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. This makes your character enjoy the pain of his opponent. This requires your character to be unlawful. It restricts you from giving the final slash to the enemy if he's not completely hacked and slashed up. It does increase you precision by one class and if you hit, you always hit weak spots of your enemy. Iron skin - Always effective This trait costs almost no mana. As long as you have more than 0 mana this trait will work. Only attacks that give you a high amount of damage (Medium wounds and up) will be effective. So dagger slashes, weak swords and pushes won't work. Intimidation - Always effective This costs no mana. This is a Broadsword class exclusive. Since they are bigger than the others, they make the enemy being scared and give a moral boost to your allies. This is very useful since the enemy won't come very close and your allies will gain the will to fight. Bound to earth - Always effective In exchange of your ability to jump you can stomp with your legs on the ground making a temporary earthquake. You can still lift yourself up. Swiftsword/Machete
Archer/Distance Fighter/Hunter - The agile class. This class isn't as strong in one hit fights, but the most agile one. Not only being able to throw or shoot blades at the enemy giving the archer a distance advantage, the swiftsword users are the best survivors in hard environment. They also can fight dual wielding melee style. Can throw blades. This trait can only be used twice in one battle. Using this, you summon over a thousand of blades above you, covering an area of one hectare or smaller. These blades shall desend, en hit everything under them. But if you pay an another trait point, then the blades won't hit you nor your allies. Always hits, can be reflected, but there are always at least medium wound hits. Arrowed - Duration: Whole battle You summon a bow, and you can summon during this battle an infinite amount of arrow shaped blades. These are only effective when shot from that bow. You can continue to fight with your blades when the bow is broken, or when you put it on your back. Blade control - Duration: As long as the blade(s) aren't broken All of the blades under your possession at the moment began to fly and spin. You can control them with simple hand movements making them fly around the enemy or attack them. When they aren't controlled they fall on the ground, but you can control them at any time again during that battle. If you gain an another blade after you cast this trait it won't be affected. Eyes of Dawn - Duration: One shot If you look for more than five seconds into the enemies eyes they will go blind for ten seconds. You don't need to say you're starting this attack, whenever the conditions are met you may say you used this technique. Blood Shot - Duration: One shot You must cut yourself to use this, the blood will flow out like crazy and change into ten sharp and thin spikes dashing at the enemy. No blood loss will be felt. Auto-Heal - Duration: One shot This costs no mana. After a minute they are inflicted all exterior wounds heal. The enemy doesn't know whether this is Auto-Heal or an advanced heal technique, unless he or she has perception. The inner wound will still be there, slowing you down. WhipBlade/Chain sword
Summoner/Tamer - The summoning class A regular short sword that can extend into a whip. This class is the summoning and riding class. This class is also agile but not very strong, the whip isn't made to attack enemies, but to tame or enslave wield beasts to ride them. Using the whip as a belt allows this class to control any beast it meets and ride/use it. Only one beast can be controlled at once and a unique trait for this class is summoning coming especially in handy. Your whip controls any beast you encounter. Your noble trait must be a summon of a certain beast. Blood Shot - Duration: One shot You must cut yourself to use this, the blood will flow out like crazy and change into ten sharp and thin spikes dashing at the enemy. No blood loss will be felt. Beast - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. This Whip user exclusive trait makes you a demon, a beast. You have summoned yourself to this world and you get a Agility boost to A. You can move your body in ways that would be unhealthy for humans, walk walls like a spider and drink blood to regain mana. The last can't be done if you're good. This allows you to ride demon classed beasts. Auto-Heal - Duration: One shot This costs no mana. After a minute they are inflicted all exterior wounds heal. The enemy doesn't know whether this is Auto-Heal or an advanced heal technique, unless he or she has perception. The inner wound will still be there, slowing you down. But it won't hurt as much and the wound can't be opened further.Sadism - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. This makes your character enjoy the pain of his opponent. Cursed Dagger
Sorcerer/Wizard - The magic class The completely inoffensive class, it is the weakest class of all. However this class is the only class capable of using spells and curses using the dagger. The class can collect souls from fallen Trait bearers stabbing their almost or completely death bodies with the cursed dagger. This will completely heal the Cursed Dagger wielder and allow you to use one of the traits of the death person once. You can have only one "stolen" trait at once and once you use it, it will disappear. Can steal traits, whenever the enemy is killed or near death and he's stabbed with the cursed dagger, the owner will gain a temporary extra Trait slot and can take one enemy trait (Not the noble trait) and keep it there. After usage the slot will be empty again. You'll gain two extra Trait slots (Trait three and four). This is actually a must take for a Cursed Dagger user. Sadism - Duration: Always effective This trait costs no mana. This makes your character enjoy the pain of his opponent. This requires your character to be unlawful. It restricts you from giving the final slash to the enemy if he's not completely hacked and slashed up. It does increase you precision by one class and if you hit, you always hit weak spots of your enemy. Portal Blast - Duration: One shot You'll create a purple portal in your hand which will continue shooting purple blasts at your enemy for a half minute or when you'll stop it. Point Beam - Duration: One shot You basically point your finger at something wait two seconds and a twenty meter long blast will appear instantly. The only way to avoid it is to move when the two seconds are passing. Heal - Duration: One shot You heal yourself from all your wounds, can be used on an ally too. Can be used only once during battle. Item Crafting - Duration: One shot You can't use this during battle! You'll create a potion which on usage will recover some health. This is very useful for Cursed Dagger wielders for they have low endurance. Auto-Heal - Duration: One shot This costs no mana. After a minute they are inflicted all exterior wounds heal. The enemy doesn't know whether this is Auto-Heal or an advanced heal technique, unless he or she has perception. The inner wound will still be there, slowing you down. But it won't hurt as much and the wound can't be opened further. Cloud of despair - Duration: One shot Out of your dagger a cloud appears and envelops your enemy. During this he/she won't be able to move, and will suffer from an immense nightmare shaped in their greatest fear. Confusion Snap - Duration: One shot Snapping your fingers confuses the enemy for a minute, they won't be able to hit as well and will see everything blurred. Terrain Shaping - Duration: As long as wished If you aren't touched for three minutes, you can change the area around you in any way you want. Terrain Control - Duration: Whole battle This allows you to control the terrain you have created in not godlike way, but very strongly. This Trait requires you to have used Terrain Shaping. Curse of Cry - Duration: As long as the victim is within one hectare If you stab your enemy with your dagger, he'll gradually slow down and feel numb until he changes into a stone statue. Then you also automatically steal his trait. The time from the stab to being a stone figure is one hour. Hero: The name and description of your hero, I prefer a real one but you may in the last resort make one up. Trait one: (pick one from the list and give name and description) Trait two: (pick one from the list and give name and description) Noble Trait: You may create your own trait! It has to have a connection with your hero, and when you pm me your sheeth I must approve it. I may change it a little if it is overpowered. But I won't do anything without your persmission! The usage of this trait costs all your mana. You may also pick a normal trait, which will cost as much as it described or the normal amount. PM me the character! Hey there. Just letting you know I am interested - just haven't finished reading everything over.
As soon as I do I will post my char. sheet. Looks good, we'll see how it goes! ![]() EDIT: Question, explain traits and noble traits to me- I just don't see how it works. Do you automatically get the noble trait when you get the relic? How many traits do you get to pick and when do you get to use them? Is it possible to be able to get more traits later on?
