Name: Blake Erandur Herrington
Age: Fifty Four Sex: Male Appearance: Blake has the appearance of a politician and businessman, for that is indeed what he is. From his charming smile to his meticulously groomed hair or to his expensive designer shoes, Blake is perfectly well groomed and suited for his task. His hair is a rich dark brown, smoothed back with gel. Blake has pearly white teeth and a flashing smile that makes you just want to trust him, but don’t be deceived. His eyes are deep blue, with the appearance of hidden wisdom. However underneath he is capable of the most heinous betrayals if it will advance his cause. His skin is like alabaster marble, almost albino. However his form is not sickly and weak. His body is lined with muscles, well earned muscles that Blake maintains through hard work. Blake wears a dark black suit, completed with a red tie and a crisp white shirt. His black pants are always straight, and he has formal black shoes. However, do not be fooled by his appearance. He holds himself with an aura of dignity and power. And is a skilled public speaker. Personality: Blake’s personality has followed his experience if life accurately. From the beginning when the idealism of capitalism appealed most strongly to him, to when he was struggling with the endless problems of Communism. A strong political mind, it has rubbed off on Blake. On one side he is thoughtful and contemplative, a political mind who is strongly opinionated and prepared to throw out his ideals and fight for them. On the other hand he is cruel and ruthless when it comes to work. He will do what is necessary without shirking. Determination is certain with him. History: Blake’s father was a politician, and his mother a scientist. He grew up with the elite class in life. At the age of sixteen he started dabbing into business, and eventually he got into one of the finest schools. There he studied economics and business. He set up his own business, and eventually founded one of the most prominent oil companies today. Blake always had a strong, political drive which was evident in his actions. In his early years managing the company he was idealistic, but eventually business taught him something. You had to be shrewd, and not shirk from dirty work. Eventually Blake lost his morals and ethics, and began using his brain. One of the reasons his company succeeded was that he had no qualms striking deals on the black market, and numerous other illicit groups. He was always one step ahead of the police in his earlier years. He held his own little political game in the oil industry, becoming a major supplier. One of the reasons for such success is his knack for sensing human emotions. He immediately befriended several Arab leaders, and was on good terms with them. This was one of the earliest illicit agreements he made. By the time he reached forty, he was very successful. He drove out opponents with ease, and had become very prominent. As such he started up several side businesses, including a communications company and a private security contractor. Eventually Blake made his way into the global theater, and started to see the trends. In the September Eleventh attack Blake finally realized the Western World would eventually crumble, so he made preparations. His clever mind saw that oil was the lifeblood of the United States. The Arab States controlled large portions of it, and only grudgingly did trade. In the early two thousands when Iran started heating up, Blake immediately began financing terrorist groups. He made a few speeches and became a friend of the Islamic Republics. This was discreet, and always disguised. To say the Pentagon was unaware would be foolish. They suspected Blake immediately, but had no proof. No case would stand in the court of law, and Blake knew it. Still, Blake was making preparations. He used his contacts in the black market to supply a small retinue of trained killers and had them trained as sort of commandoes. Blake was outwardly a friend of politicians, and became a lobbyist for a president. The financial contributions made were significant, and Blake became privy to certain information. The training program mirrored the seals, although his small guard could never perform any operations, only defense of their employer. Blake himself worked out and stayed in shape. He trained himself in the use of firearms and such to be prepared for such an event. The pentagon began getting worried, Blake had a list of contacts from Russia to the United States. He had befriended major terrorist groups and had backings of certain unstable Islamic dictators who wished to see the Western world on its knees. Indeed, Blake toasted when the Iranian leader stated he wished to see America wiped off the face of the Earth. By his own will, his own desire for survival, Blake had made himself hate his home and his birthplace, to become a traitor. At age fifty, Blake made his escape from the Western World. The Pentagon was coming close to being able to shut him down, so he immediately transferred his assets and companies. By now they were international, and not based in the US. The United States could do nothing when his money was transferred to other banks, and could not do anything to prevent the loss of trade with a major oil company. Indeed the departure contributed the depression of America’s economy and inflation the country was recovering from. The Arab states were all too happy to continue their oil with Blake, who then opened trade with other nations. China being a large one, their military was becoming increasingly expansive and their economy was booming as well. Although in the long run this did not harm the United States, it did provide Blake an escape to the Islamic Republics where Blake was able to be sheltered. Blake continued to move about, always a shrewd political mind. His absence was never made known to most people, and kept quiet. However Blake was multiple contacts from his former business days in the United States, and if he wants, can get something done. Weapons: He always carries two personal silenced pistols. Role: Politician, businessman. (Also has commando training) Country: Born in America Side(U.N or Asia): Asia (I join this not because I am a militaryish person, but I prefer politics. This seems exceedingly interesting and I hope to start roleplaying soon. I will have to edit my history some more, I need to add a part about Blake’s time in Russia and his struggle with the ideals of Communism. If you do not find a part acceptable, let me know. I understand my character is not geared for fighting, however I may wish to use him for such. A lot of the time I may work through contacts and various NPCs, but I don’t wish to use it overly much. The number of actual bodyguards ranges from seventy five to one hundred. I hope this is acceptable, if not, I shall change it.)
