There had been an unknown sort of peace between the humans and the vampires for many years. Due to the ruler of the vampire race, vampires would never kill their prey, only taking their fill of those who offered their blood to the creatures. The peace between the two separate races, however, began to break as a rebellious group known as Seekers began to make themselves noticed.

Seekers believed that vampires were slowly taking control of humans and would soon take over them. They also believed that vampires were nothing more than filthy, blood-sucking freaks. Soon, Seekers began taking actions into their own hands, speaking out to other humans in hopes that they, too, would bring an end to the vampiric race. Upon hearing statements made by Seekers, the humans were being convinced that the group was right; they were slowly being consumed by the vampire's trust that would lead to their demise.

Not long after, Seekers began adding new recruits, organizing them into two groups depending on their skills: Day Seekers and Night Seekers. Day Seekers wandered throughout the morning and afternoon hours, finding those vampires who had found a way to wander around in the sun’s light. Night Seekers, more active than those in the day, would find those

The vampires had also formed a group known as Darkness Beyond, a group that required the best fighters and those who had special abilities. Darkness Beyond worked under the orders of the princess, Zani Lockliss, who also joined the resistance group against her father’s wishes.

Clashes between the groups were often, and many lives had been claimed. No one knew if the peace between the two races would ever be restored, but many hoped, for the sake of all mankind, that it would...

Other Notes: Vampires must feed within a time frame of two days. Humans can be turned into vampires, but let's not get too crazy with it. Vampires are able to walk in daylight, but they can only be in daylight for two hours or....you burn to a crisp. The only things that can kill a vampire are holy water and extreme exposure to UVA rays (like in Trinity Blood)

Name: Zani Lockliss

Age: 125 (looks 23)

Race: Vampire

Gender: Female

Group/Status: Darkness Beyond/Princess
Appearance: Zani has silverish-blue hair, a rare color found among vampires, that reaches her lower back and dark, mesmerizing deep ocean blue eyes that stand out clearly against her pale skin. She's about 5' 6" in height and has a feminine, yet slightly muscular, body. She wears most anything ranging from pants to skirts, short sleeve to long sleeve shirts, and black leather boots that reach just below her knees.

Personality: Zani most of the time keeps more to herself, though she's quite adventurous and usually finds herself getting into more trouble than she'd prefer. She despises humans due to an unfortunate event that happened many years back but can't help but feel some remorse whenever she kills one.

Weapons/Special Abilities: Zani is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat between more than one opponent. She also has a very special ability that she has yet to master. She can control a person's mind for up to two minutes at a time, though she uses a great amount of energy due to her lack of control over her power and only uses it in emergency situations.

Personality: Crimson tries to be a stratagist most of the time but useually he doesn't really think about his actions. He can be quite closed up about how he feels in certain situations. He doesn't really hate humans but is annoyed by their idiocy in following the Seekers. He's also very protective of other membersof the group.

Weapons/Abilities: His wings are quite strong and allow him to fly besides that he has one ability that he perfers not to use since it seems like a waste of food, he has the ability to manifest a physical blade of blood. Besides that he has no other special skills.

Appearance: Shoulder length black hair w/reddish tint. Icy Blue eyes. normally wears a full lenght trench coat with a corset or fitted black shirt, with black slacks or jeans underneath, and always wears a pair of combat boots.

Personality: Dark, but funny. Alot of the time she uses violence to solve her problems.

Weapons/Abilities: Can put any creature into a trance, and until she feels like it should be free to go, it is trapped under her control. She also carries a pair of handguns, and is skilled in the art of using them.

Appearance: Larger than average, has brown hair and some vampire features are more noticable than usual.
Personality: Depends on a lot of things, can be kind to friends and sometimes can get very angry.
Weapons/Abilities: He is good at fighting, uses any weapons he can find if he feels it's neccesary and he is better at handling daylight than most vampires.

((one thing, maybe there should be a neutral groups, trying to dissolve both the groups and stop the fighting to return to the former peace. Well im not sure how that would fit in this story, but just a thought.))

Name: Zeke Morphane

Age: 114 (looks 20)

Race: Vampire

Gender: Male

Group/Status: Darkness Beyond

Appearance: Zeke is a staggering height of 6'4" and weighs 230 pounds. He is filled out quite nicely, having chiseled features that drop shadows in the right places that gives him a mysterious air in conjunction with his personality. Even though he's a vampire, his skin is lightly tanned from his prior days in the sun, somehow never leaving his skin. His eyes are weird due to one being and icy blue where the other is noticeably darker, this is probably the one thing he would change on his body if he could. His hair is fairly short, having a golden blond color to it, he's trying to grow it out.

Personality: For the most part, Zeke is a shy guy, normally not speaking to most people and just minding his own business. Other times he can be party dynamite, though that's not often. Though he's old in human standards, his curiosity hasn't left him and normally gets him in trouble when he's feeling adventurous... One of these occasions being quite notable to almost every vampire. He can conform with humans, mainly because after becoming Vampire, he was really quite normal though he was a prospect athlete when in highschool... just one day disappearing to never return.

Weapons/Special Abilities: Before becoming a Vampire, he was training to become a UFC fighter, learning Taekwondo and Jujitsu. Regardless, he's a competent fighter when it comes down to not having a weapon. When his "life" is put in jeopardy, he is quite the cold hearted killer. This is also shown when his friends or people he considers "family" are put in the same position. He can use just about anything as a weapon when the time is right, his human strength in conjunction with his "vampire strength" makes his a force to be reckoned with.
