Well, Dread. I think it is all a twisted plot to get more girls to watch anime. Because girls want guys who can empathize with them, be sensitive and sentimental and caring and kind. So basically they just made girly characters that they called guys so that the girls would watch the show, addicted, wishing real life was like that. And that makes the industry happy, because all the little girlies are inside watching anime instead of having a life, thus making advertising companies pay to air on those channels, which roles in the money and makes everybody happy.
So what do you say to that? And, yes, that is my short version of the reason lol

Diana DeGraff Age: 19 Power: Teleportation. Think Kurt Wagner (nightcrawler) only without the blue skin, smoke puffs and she doesn't have to see the place, only have seen it in the past. Still only short range though. Like, 100~150 ft. (30~45 meters) Skills: Able to draw pretty much anything almost photo realistically. Has a very good memory of visual things. Picture/Descrip: Diana Brief History: Diana grew up in a very rich home. Her parents were exactly what you'd expect of rich people. Too busy being rich and trying to buy their daughter's love with gifts and money. She didn't want it though. Not the gifts or the money. Slowly but surely her attention turned to the goth community. And also slowly but surely her looks started changing. More goth and less rich girl every month it seemed. At the age of 18 she moved out, refusing to stay another day with her uncaring parents. They offered her money to buy something, but instead she found a job as a shop attendant in an "alternate lifestyle" clothing shop to earn it herself. Even though the owner never found out how, Diana always managed to do everything a little faster it seemed. Cleaning, hanging up new clothes, attending to customers you name it. Other than that she never used her powers were others could see her. To, for instance, get from her desk or computer to the bathroom or to pretend she wasn't home it was still very handy though. After about year of living by herself Diana decided that it was time to learn a bit more about her ability to teleport pretty much anywhere. She had been hearing about special schools for "gifted" youngsters so the girl decided she might just give it a try. As long as it was out of sight of the general public that is.
