![]() Prelude Diana wasn’t like other kids. Other kids played tag in the sunshine; their mum’s packed them sandwiches and crisps. When they had a birthday they would invite all of their friends and eat cake next to a jumping castle. Diana couldn’t be like other kids; she was too different. Other kids learnt elementary sums, and how to spell ‘business’. Diana was taught how to stay away from the other kids. Other kids had friends; Diana wasn’t allowed any friends until she learned to let them live.
