As I looked through the mirror, I saw not of me, but of what I had become - a shell of my former self, tainted by the hand of evil. It was then that I had decided; I had to fight this... thing, inside of me. The blanket of darkness had touched me - caressed my innocent cheek. The warmth it offered felt gentle, kind. WARNING: You encouraged my writing, Abo and the rest of you, after that last post from Ivy's perspective. In response, I wrote another (significantly longer) post. If you liked all the previous ones, or what you have read of them, then I would say read on because even though it looks long, it is action packed and shocking!!
The rest of you, please bear with my ridiculously long post. I just got a little carried away with the story... It seems I have some pretty crazy imaginings rattling around in my brain. The good news is, it did move the plot along. Ivy should be able to be seen around town now, as she is ESCAPING. Yay!

Well...there is always the potential of creating a similar rp in advanced, except putting Ivy and the other evildoers in the spotlight. We could maybe get more of an epic battle between good and bad mutants going. If that sparks anyone's interest. Otherwise I'll just keep posting developments here until i can find a way to make the two stories mesh. I just don't want to sacrifice Ivy's story because this is a beginning rp...she just had so much of a story to tell that i couldn't stop myself.

well, when i have writer's block, especially when i am playing a character that is so unlike myself, I sometimes put on music of the mood I want to create. Otherwise I focus on an emotion I want to convey and a single event I want to happen. I just start typing what would cause that character to feel that emotion and before i know it i have gone from point a to point b.
With ivy i wanted to convey lust and have her escape, all while making it seem twisted. What better way than to have her be attracted to the deranged doctor that experimented on her? Good luck ironing out that writer's block. Let me know what you guys think of the other suggestion. I look forward to reading what you will write!!
