Hey don't worry Izael it's ok you were still in the inn at the time. Greyswandir you can join but i think it would be best to incorporate you into the story from this field place. And we'll wait for wolfy to complete the story together.

Mmk. I have this already tho..

Above Tressa, the sun bleaches the clouds in a beautiful arrangement of orange and gold. On the horizon, a small airship can be seen making its way steadily toward the bustling merchant town. Upon the vessel, a lone figure dressed in an assortment of gray and black stands at the bow, dwelling on the events that brought him to this place. Alderon's father had been a giant among warriors, traveling many places and acquiring many worldly artifacts. Settling down in his brother Galen's farming village, soon sired a son and daughter. After nine years, he was drawn to the war and died in the arms of his brother. Galen returned to his village and presented Alderon with his father's broken sword. Being a wealthy man, Galen took Alderon's family under his wing and trained Alderon in the ways of the sword.

Leaving the captain's quarters, Galen steps on deck. Shouting orders to the crew, he draws up to Alderon and says, “We're nearing Tressa and I want to go over things. The crew already has my orders to sell our goods so once we dock, you will follow me to the smith. We keep a low profile until the job is done then I am heading back to The Madison. I know you're dying to follow in your father's footsteps so from there smith, you can follow your wanderlust guide you. Your father would be proud.” Alderon nods and they stand in silence for the remainder of the journey.

The boat lands smoothly in the ocean the crew steer safely to the dock. As soon as the ship is tethered, Alderon and Galen disappear into the crowd in search of their smith. As they walk, they witness a small confrontation involving an elf, wolf-man, and two 'normal' humans. Losing himself in thought, Alderon identifies this as just the type of group his father would travel with. Noting that Alderon has stopped, Galen pulls him along and they make their way to the proper place. It turns out to be a rundown building on the ugly side of town. Across the way stands a tavern in similar condition with a rugged sign naming it Good Fountain Tavern. Pausing at the entrance, Galen turns to Alderon and whispers, “Remember, let me do the talking. These folks are not to be argued with. They can turn from friend to foe in a heart beat if you anger them.”

The two men step into the small shop and immediately the smell of day-old everything hits them. A hearth casts a dim red glow upon the occupants of the room and Alderon sees that the place is a typical smith-shop. The blacksmith himself, is hunched over a counter staring down at his latest piece of work. Even sheathed, Alderon recognizes it as his fathers blade; his blade. Galen walks to the counter and he and the smith exchange words. Galen reaches into his cloak and pulls out a large ring with various stones embedded in the priceless artifact and takes the sword in return. He hands the sword to Alderon and they leave the shop in silence.

“That was the ring that allows The Madison to levitate!” Alderon exclaims once they are back in the outdoors, “what will you do without it?” Already feeling indebted to Galen, Alderon feels now that he owes more to his kind uncle than he can ever repay.

The Madison is well prepared to make the journey back by sea. It will take a bit longer but will be an adventure. We'll see if I can still navigate the waters,” Galen replies with a chuckle. “Besides, he did you a favor strengthened the sword with hair from a unicorn's mane so it was well worth the cost.” As the two walk, there is a crash across the road as some guards hassle a merchant. Not thinking much of it, they keep walking until they hear a female voice confronting the guards. Turning, Alderon sees that the voice belongs to the same elf woman that caught his eye before. Dumbfounded by her bold move, he watches as she runs inside the tavern and the guards give chase. Torn between letting things pass and trying to act a hero, Alderon makes his decision when the guards break the door down. Alderon rushes into the tavern behind the guards and Galen is on his heels.

As they cross the threshold, three of the four guards turn on them and start spewing profanities and urge them to leave the premise. In one swift motion, Galen draws a dagger from under his cloak and fells the closet guard. Watching in disgust, Alderon draws his sword and stands in a defensive position. Suddenly he wonders if he really wants to take another man's life. He had always viewed it as fun and games but now that the situation manifested, he was nervous.

Still out of trouble.

And Greyswandir, really nice idea...but it would leave you on your own for a bit instead of getting dragged into the group(kicking, screaming, willingly, or otherwise). But if you don't mind that, great idea.

Yeah that would work out good you could pick up wolfoboy's player in the tavern because he did not go through the door. And everybody else’s players are in a field not far from Tressa so they can all meet up. Just a idea

Yeah, I left it open ended in case wolfboy wanted to stay so he can take part in the action. I'll go ahead and post it.

I'd say that would work best, since he hasn't been on for a while. Though you should probably leave that up to Archers Kiss to give the final verdict on that one.

I'm getting a little confused with how the wolf boy thing is going, but feel free to join in Greyswandir whenever you feel it's appropriate. I think when we get back into Tressa we could met up with you there.
