This is a roleplay about you becoming a Pokémon trainer and training to become stronger with your Pokémon. We will start out in the Johto region, and trainers from everywhere will come to collect there first Pokémon from Professor Elm. You may start out with any Pokémon you wish, but only first evolutions (Meaning that your first Pokémon may not have already evolved). Whether it be from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh. Also, I would prefer that nobody uses legendaries for their starters, if you want to use one of the weaker legendaries please ask.

Name: James Davy

Personality: James is very caring and dependable with a kindness towards Pokémon and a way with them
Appearance: James has purple hair styled in dreadlocks and is an average height. He wears a maroon shirt with grey shorts and black boots. He also wears a red backpack that he uses for travel and a blue Pokétch that was given to him on his 10th birthday.
History: James was born in Mauville City, before moving with his family to Jubilife City then finally settling in Saffron City. He studied a lot of Pokémon books to the point of having exceptional knowledge of most species of Pokémon. He even watched Sabrina battle whenever he was at Saffron Gym and is good friends with the gym leader.
Having been trounced at the Kanto League Championships, he is going through Johto to open his mind to new techniques and to face the Battle Frontier there. His mission now is to defeat Chuck North at the Kanto League Championship and to reclaim the title.

Personality:Friendly, Easygoing but in a battle he will be serious and try his hardest to win.
Appearance:

History: Landon when he was 4 he was in a forest fire but then a Legendary Pokemon known as Latios swooped in and saved him. Landon has been wanting to see Latios again after that.

Name: Chuck North
Age: 18
Personality: Kind and patient
Appearance:
History: Chuck was born in Snowpoint city but started his trainer career in Hoenn. He knows quite a bit about Pokemon, having studied for 8 years while waiting to go to Hoenn. He had many adventures with his two new friends, Xander and James. With the help of Lance, he was able to capture the legendary Kyogre and Groudon. He took on the Elite 4 and managed to beat them, but lost to Xander who became the new Champ. Chuck left all his Pokemon with his family in Snowpoint save for one, his shiny baby Absol. Then he travelled Kanto with his friends, catching more Pokemon. During his final Gym battle, his Absol, now fully grown, got seriously hurt. She is staying with his family to heal. He battled James in an epic battle which he barely won, earning him the title of Kanto Champ. Now with his Sneasel and Dratini, he sets out for Johto.

History: He was one of the best in Team Rocket, but having lost to Chuck in a Gym battle, and almost getting Giovanni and himself arrested, he was thrown out and all his Pokemon taken away. He went to Johto to try and take it over for Team Rocket, starting with stealing a Pokemon from Elm's Lab
