No one is quite sure what happened, but suddenly things fell from the sky. The people who picked up these things changed and seemed to go berserk for the most part. When their children were born, they were different, but still had sanity...

It's been 1000 years since the incident and now there is no way to identify a shifter from a regular human, short of the marking that each bears somewhere on his or her body. Some people fear them, some figure that as long as they don't do anything, they'll be just fine.

Now you decide, as a shifter would you be a cause for the destruction of a people, or would you be its salvation?


Okay guys, the point of this rp is that everyone has special powers, but they can't be fully awakened unless they 'shift' which is pretty much a form change. Everyone who is a shifter must have a mark somewhere, it might not be visible, but it has to be somewhere on the outside of the body. Also, in the era, guns, swords, and everything in between are usable.

pg-13 on whatever romance occurs

Marking: On his back, it looks like wings; and on his hands, a seven pointed star encompassed by a circle.
Powers: Flitting (Not quite teleportation, but really close), Snap (Similar to Flitting, but just one body part), and a Pocket dimension (It's a tiny dimension in his pocket which he can store anything he can imagine, short of overly large things. It's actually in his palm, but oh well.)
Weapon(s): all three of them.

Shifted Powers: The aforementioned three(the three I have for my regular powers), flight (Erm... he has wings... so...), and Lightning Conjuration (making a lightning bolt strike the ground out of nowhere)
Past: Dynadin was raised in an orphanage by people who abused him because of what he was. He was saved when the person who raised him past thirteen adopted him and showed him their own markings. When he was fifteen, Dynadin got lost and then kidnapped by an underground organization bent on the destruction of regular humans to make way for 'evolution' after being mistaken for regular by them. Now he's been released and is looking for the person who raised him.

Past:Zack never really knew why he was different, but he is, and he'll take advantage of it. He can somtimes be ruthless, but is mostly a livley, laid-back person. His history isunknown, because he neer trusted anybody enought tho tell them.

Appearance: He has long black hair and piercing, always watchful green eyes. He wears a military dog tag necklace. He wears a black trench coat and a black shirt with a small white symbol on the left top part of the shirt, right below the shoulder is where it is at. he has black baggy pants and black combat boots.
Marking: It is located on the back of his left hand, it is a sword with a ring around the center of the sword
Powers: Speed faster than god-like, future sight, and being able to fix things or make them even better even if he has never seen it before
Weapon(s):
Shifted Appearance: his hair, eyes and clothes change from black to white...thats all
Shifted Powers: He can use hell fire, foresight, speed beyond his non shifted form, able to fire lightning bolts directly from his palms, He can fly, and has the ability to move through walls.
Past: He grew up as a normal child, until he turned sixteen, thats when he discovered he was a shifter, the day of his 16th b-day he woke up with all white clothes, white hair and white eyes. But after that he tried shifting back to normal, he wasn't able to do so. Ever since then he has been able to move really fast, be able to see the future, and was the best fixer in the world. Then he figured out his shifted powers....ever since then he has lived a life of mostly solitude, no one wanting to talk to him, even other shifters didn't want to talk to him.

Powers: Emotional Manipulation [ Explain while roleplaying ] Slight telepathy and slight telekensis

Shifted Appearance: Just add black cat ears to her appearance and also two stripes under her eyes and on her hands
Shifted Powers: Same three as before. Plus, pyrokensis and thats all.
Past: Kaysi always knew she was different. At age 13, she 'shifted' for the first time and now she loves it. Her shifted form makes her faster, stronger and more clever than before.

Shifted Appearance: A white tiger.
Shifted Powers: when you see a tiger what do you do? especially if he stands to oh say your waist? lol he has no specific power he just is a tiger when he shifts.
Past:Had a normal life till he hit puberty then he found out he had powers and his parents sent him to some school in the middle of nowhere. He became a business man and is very laid back.

Name: Draco
Age: 135 (24 in appearance)
Appearance: Looks like a relatively normal 24 year old of average height. Has rather shaggy shoulder length brown hair and a slightly more muscular frame than average. The only feature that sets him apart from normal are his red eyes that glow like embers when he gets angry.
Marking: (Tribal Dragon Tattoo) Which is on the right side of his chest.
Powers: Can grow fingers into dragon claws toped with razor sharp claws (At will), ageless, Can breath fire (Not as well as in shifted mode)
Weapon(s): Claws, fire breath, other natural weapons, and a long sword
Shifted Appearance: Grows dragons wings that have a 12 foot long span, face elongated and teeth become long and sharp. He also grows a scaley tail that is about 6 feet long. (Picture except red and minus the lightning on the long sword and the armor)

Shifted Powers: Flight, Fire Breath (Much longer reach that normal), Telepathy, super strength
Past: Draco's family have always lived deep in the mountains away from society and civilization. About 100 year ago he was being chased by a pack of wolves when suddenly the dragon mark appeared on his chest and wings suddenly sprouted from his back and he simply flew away from the persuing wolves. Fearing the stigma of being a shifter and lived in the woods alone for 75 years. Only recently has he finally felt the need to venture back into society.
