I think it's a nice idea in theory, but in practice it would just become clogged with already started RPs and dead RPs like the main OOC's are now. The best way to find a just started/starting RP is to check the replies count - and look past page 1. Sometimes RPs sit waiting for attention on pages 2 and 3 because page 1 is full of active RPs.
Do a bit of digging and look for OOCs/RPs with low reply counts and you will discover exactly what you are looking for methinks. |

The only problem is that the New ones would have to be updated continuously, for they would get old quickly. Just search in the OOC's for ones with not too many posts, and it should all turn out okay

I was thinking (and forgot to say) that you guys (or the thread starter) would delete a thread as it started playing. Another benefit would be new rpgs would get players sooner, rather than being swamped by already running ones, preventing annoyance among the would-be GMs.
For now, I'll use your sugestion.

A way I've seen things done is that people post an OOC before they post an IC, so that they can get a decent number of members together before they set the ball rolling.

you want to check for interest check actually methinks. they're fairly easy to find, and get posted alot. All i do is keep loading the "New Posts" button at the top of the page, and keep checking it over. I find plenty of new RP's that way.
