I'll give you guys the short version of this first. Violence on this site is excusable to reach an "R" rating, sexual content a firm "PG-13." Anything beyond that will get your thread shut down or deleted
instantly, and you will be issued a warning. Multiple offenses might earn you a ban.
Here's the long version.
I shouldn't be having to tell you guys this. It was recently brought to the mod team's attention that graphic sexual content was being generated by several of our members. I am
disgusted by the actions of said members, and if it were up to me, I would have personally IP banned
each and every one of them. Yet, even as an admin, I must adhere to the moderation standards set forth at the creation of this forum. That means that you get a second chance.
Do not let me catch you slipping again, or you're gone.
Here's the part where you start whining and saying, "but there's no rule that says we can't do that, and we're too stupid to use common sense!" True, there is not a strict ruleset. In the words of Hyzhenhok, taken from the sticky at the top of off-topic discussion-

In other words, we expect you to use your brain. Forum rules are pretty much universal across the entire internet; we've all heard them before. I personally hold the belief that the people that cause trouble are the people that are going to do it anyway, rules present or not. Ignorance is not an excuse; don't even try to use it as one. Don't try to play stupid, we know you aren't (well, there's a few exceptions, hence this announcement).
However, if you insist on acting like idiots, we'll go ahead an instate an oppressive ruleset and enforce it unforgivingly. We've successfully avoided doing that since the birth of this forum, and it's not something we want to do. We want to play, not spend all day preening your filth. And so long as our community remains mature and responsible, we won't have to do that. But if more people pop up like those who spurred this announcement, strict rules and heavy moderation are only a thread away.
I've one more thing to state, and that is how
your content effects our image as a community. We want people to come here and be impressed by our diversity and high-quality content. We don't want them to blow chunks onto their keyboards, then claw out their eyes because the first thing they come across is a bunch of little teenagers cybering. In addition, we don't want the kind of people that'll see that and join so they can jump into the fray. Go on IMs, find a damned porn site or somthing;
I don't care how the hell you get your jollies, just don't do it here, or I'm gonna ban your ass if I catch it before one of the nicer, more professional mods does.
Nobody should have to stumble across that. Not a guest, and not even a mod. Your personal material disgusts me. And when I read it, you disgust me.
I expect never to have to write anything like this again.
