Another Suggestion...
Light: We've been around here and haven't seen a place for Completed Roleplays yet. What happens when roleplays end?
Darkness: Maybe there could be a sub-forum for Completed Roleplays, perhaps only accessible by admins, where completed roleplays could be moved to. |

well if done it shouldn't only be accessible to admins. What if old players wanted to reread it? Or if there was any thing important there that one would want to reference.
Other then that its fine. Finding a cut off date for whats "finished" may be hard though

I think finished is defined by the author and the story line.
Some roleplays don't ever finish which may be why they die (every good thing must come to an end). |

I have only completed two roleplays in my lifetime (even thought their stories link like a set of two novellas); they are Delavega and Tribulation. I think having an archive is a great idea. The 'secret' mod forum (which isn't much of a secret anymore...hehe...has two forums; one for discussion, and one for old threads. Maybe we can create new forum or move the Old Threads forum out to the public and use that as an archive.
It's an interesting idea to say the least; so I'll post a link to this in our discussions forum and see what the other mods and Mahz think. |

But what happens to ones that just die? Do they stay in limbo forever? Can they be rezzed into some undead beast that rampages on forever?
Seriously, a good roleplay should go on for as long as it can, like a never ending story. So, having complete roleplays in a separate section to promote people to rap up their roleplay is stupid. Besides, complete is a euphemism for dead, or to be more detailed Death by Closing. |
