Alright, since most of you don't seem to know what an arena thread is, here are some examples from way back in "The ol' days."

Random prize tournament

Blood arena

Now, in case you didn't understand from those examples, basically, they're threads in which you fight eachother, magic powers, futuristic weaponry, knives, fists only, any sort of fight. It's a fight to the death (Well, maybe not in some cases), and the winner emerges the champion.

I'd be happy help you out, WoD. The thing is, however, if you want to start up an Arena Section, then you'll need Mahz's approval. He's kind of busy at the moment, but his schedule should be more laxed when his break comes up this Spring.

Also, there was one major problem with the old Arena: very few posts were made. I'm serious. Many of the arena threads (including my Random Prize Tournament) died because of inactivity or the thread starter got caught up in other business (which was my case). So, if you're going to do this, then you need some trusted committment from your friends on here if this is going to work.

And i was thinking about asking Mahz to bring the section back, but i'ma just making an rp for now. And ya don't have ta worry about my dedcation, when i start a thread, i try my best to keep up with it and every thing about it!

I totally forgot it as well. The only problem to why people wont post is that you got the god mods who totally ignore your posts and kill your character anyways. (Random prize tournament. was a very moderate example between Blaider and me. Because of which I have lost the taste to try and fight on roleplaying games anymore.)

there should of been referees(sp) for the arean section to be honest. I read a few of the fights in there and some were just god modding only. That's just my input.

lol they would have been fine. I had to use my imagination to get the bullets through his "Bullet proof Ice Armor" WTF who comes up with that crap! Though I thought it was cool how I used the fire to get my bullets in. *Smiley* I said *smiley* because I don't have the *smiley* in the quick response and am to lazy to change over.
