My laptop is bugging out so much, I can't log on at home. I'm stuck using school computers for now, so I wont be on as much- every other day.

Does any one know of a good laptop brand or modle? cuz I'm gona need a new one,So, help me out here. and thanks in advance for the help.

Since mid-august, I've been using a Dell Inspiron 1520. A little bulky, but still light enough for me to carry around in my backpack, and I'm only five feet tall, and mighty scrawny.

Inspirons can get really expensive depending on the configuration you get, but they also start off really quite cheap, while still presenting you with a very functional laptop that can run as well or even better than most. Which is really surprising, for a Dell.

Only downside is the fact that it comes with Vista only - though I've come to terms with the OS, you still can always replace it with XP yourself.

I'm a graphic designer, and a cartoonist. Anyone know of a good tablet-laptop I could get that I wouldn't have to worry about lag and performance?

Get comodo firewall and AVG Antivirus. Avoid pron, period.


Compaq Presario C714. It's what I have. Norton's a pain when you get it, but after the time has run out, get the above two. Once again, avoid pron.

But the only kind of laptop i need is on that can handle the wear-and-tear of a computer nerd, and can suport the anti-virus softwere

Lemme guess: BitLord or Limewire.

That stuff will devour your computer.

I can't post anything here, seeing half of that stuff is illegal. I don't necessarily support it, but at least keep yourself protected. It's like 20 years with Bubba if you get caught, anyways.

I have a Dell Latitude D600....and it works great...and has plenty of space on it, you can find em fairly cheap on Ebay
