Roleplayer Guild - Forum Roleplaying Games

I am a major fan of the world known xbox game, halo. I am currently in participation with a small halo rp in the casual section but I would really like to participate in more halo rp's but there so hard to find can anyone help me make my own major halo universe roleplay or atleast help me find one or share the same interest.

I've only played Halo 1 and 2 but I do like them a lot. It would be interesting if you could come up with a storyline or something that happens during the same time as Master Chief's kickassery (look it up lol) or maybe before or after it all. Good luck man, looking forward to it

Nice to here that people in roleplayer guild like Halo.

Personally I can't stand themed Roleplays (even if its Legend of Zelda themed, which I'm a big fan of), however if people what a Halo roleplay, then, well, make the darn threads and had your fun. Same for any other franchise that a roleplay could be themed, I mean how many Final Fantasy themed roleplays are there in the guild? I remember finding a bunch themed off of semi-popular mangas and the such. I even found a Doom themed roleplay in casual.

It isn't that Halo themed roleplays are being pulled the moment they are being discovered, it that most people into roleplay tend to be anima freaks, goths, and techno-geeks. Within those groups only one would show a prodominate interest in Halo, not to say that the other groups wouldn't be interested, but I don't know that many anima freaks that would show an interest in Halo enough to know the universe to properly roleplay in.

With that said, all you Halo, or whatever, fans can get together and made the appropriate thread. There is nothing stopping you.

I've always loved Halo's story. The books really did add a whole new depth to the seemingly faceless mass of Marines and Covenant that the more frat-boy-ish FPS fans might just ignore for the sake of explosions.

I love the first two games(have yet to get a 360) but I'm not all that familiar with the story details, and I'm not sure how long I could hang onto it with the small amount of knowledge gamewise, that I possess. But like I said earlier(in another thread) I'd join just to be joining it, I love to try my hand at different story and character types.

But what usually throws me off, when joining a thread, I don't like to join a thread that's been going for 20-strong pages, which is why I havent joined some of the older threads around here. Though I may change, I may start to venture into the longer threads in the future, as of now, I'll stick to joining the more "fresh" threads.

So if yer gonna start one, I'll be glad to try my hand, but I'm not all that indepth when it comes to halo inparticular.

isudae76, there is a halo rp going in the casual section under the name "Assualt on Orivis VI (Act I)" if you're interested. it is currently only 8 pages long.

I'll give it a lookin-over, but like I said, I'm not indepth, so I'll probly not be apart of the larger picture...

I am totally up for helping with this. I didn't finish 1 (found it to be actually boring...don't hate me.) But I've finished the other two, and really love Halo 3. That might be weird, now that I think about it.

Anyways, If we do this idea, would it be possible that the time is pre-Halo 1? We wouldn't all necessarily be Spartans, but I love the thought of those massive wars for planets and such.

Perhaps some of you might be interested in "The Tale of Spartans and Hunters." Mind you its more Haloid than Halo, but it should work, and you can be a Spartan. It one of my weird roleplay experiments, so don't fret, if it turns out to suck.

hey i'll help i played al the game and have all the books and an indepth understanding of the teck and story line of haloand i have some thing to add and if u do start this a recomend it being post halo 3 or pre halo 1 by about ten years it'll give the most room.
