Sorry, I just needed to ask.

Although there is no rule against it written in the Casual RolePlay section, it is kind of a problem for me and I need to know if I can do something about it. It is not yet that big of a deal but I need to be ready just in case it grows.

So, in my thread, there is this dude who posted in the IC without visiting the OOC. I thought maybe the person was just new and didn't know the mechanics. And since he seems to be a friend of another rper in the rp, I opened it up to friend RPer.

So there was a discussion of whether or not one needs to post in the OOC at all before being allowed to do so in the IC. And it became clear that they thought one shouldn't need permission.

So... can I do something like have the post deleted if they refuse to visit the OOC even if there is no specific rule against it? I tried to pm but I can't pm the new member yet.

Also is this a problem in the first place? Help.

If you set the rules in your thread and are the author and if you want them to post in OOC for permission to post in the IC then you are fully within your rights to request a mod to delete their posts if they refuse to abide by them.

Oh no... what if I didn't state it but it was implied all through out? I thought it was an SOP and so didn't put it in beside no God-Modding and If you get stabbed you die rule. What happens now?

You can always add a rule, it's your RP isn't it?

Also, since it's your RP, he pretty much has no right to refuse

There are very few rules here, just the basic idea of be nice to others. I was just saying that about having the rule in your first post as a suggestion because people do usually read the first post and if it says so there most respect that.

There are always a few who don't, and if one creeps in and starts cramping up your RP you can always PM a mod and we can handle it, clear out their posts and let them know the rules of your RP. You can always PM them yourself (and because they can delete their own posts, you may not need a mod) but in this case you were unable to (probably can now though).
