I just want to throw out that this site is for rping, not for seeing who has the most posts. You shouldnt care how high your post count is, it doesnt define you as a better or worse person. No one should care about their post count levels, and no one should care about OTHER peoples post counts. Its not anyone elses business. So even talking about it is pointless.

Indeed, but its the nature of mankind. And there is only a few of us who doesn't care about our post counts. Some just wants to be No. 1 in something, even if its irrelevant to the environment. Like the post count in a forum roleplaying site.
In my case, when i see someone with 2000posts and that someone just joined 2 weeks ago(no names in particular, this is just an example.) I just hope at least that someone contributed something to the site. Like, made other people enjoy the one liners or greeting cookies he/she made.

Exactly. It shouldn't matter at all. Not even enough to bring up in a thread like that. But like you said "its the nature of mankind". I'm competitive, but I strive to make my posts better not my number of posts. Some people go for the easier of the two, I guess.

I actually have to have someone point out my post count when it reaces a certain number before I even notice it. It just doesn't seem that important to me it's just a number after all...
