Roleplayer Guild - Forum Roleplaying Games

In a different forum (A Simple Machines forum), an admin had the bright idea to wipe out double-posting forever. It was called 'postets'.

Okay, it was a typo, but I like it better when it's called a postet.

The way it went was something like this:








Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

The idea was, when someone double-posted, it would bump the thread and instead of making a new post, it would add the postet to the end of the old post. Ingenious, eh?

I think this forum could use it.

who double posts anyway. i'm too dandy for that.

Sometimes one is forced to double post.

For example, I recently had to bump an rp in advanced, and I had been the last one to post there, so it was a double-post, technically, but it is an understatement to say that this is probably the best suggestion ever.
