I'd have to say that's kind of a bad idea...it would make some people angry and breed resentment since you're always being corrected or criticized. That's me though.

But only people that would be willing to be subjected to corrections would do it. It wouldn't be necessary..on the contarary o.o

I on the other hand support this idea, I may be Irish but that doesn't make me a grammer king or a good writer for that matter.
Everyone is entitled on my opinion. ![]()

Age doesn't *Really* Have an effect. I was advanced rping when I was 15 and I knew someone who was 19 and was not as good as me *Not getting arrogant*
The Idea is a good idea. We have tried to kinda do that before... like a Big brother big sister program for Rping but it didn't get off it's feet really

oh because I used to be a member in this forum and it kinda worked.
And age does play a factor. Maybe not a very important one. But consider this. When did you write better? When you were 15 or now? o.o

Yes I am far better now than I was when I was fifteen. With four years of Rping on a regular basis tends to give me much experiance. There are different factors of the age catigory. Someone could start when they are 20 and seriously write like a 12 year old. And someone could start when they are 12 and be better than a 20 year old who has been rping for quite a few years. So Age isn't a factor really, it's the experiance one has, despite ones age.

I agree with Aer. Age doesn't really make a difference, only expirirence. On the forum where I started, there were people way older than me who couldn't wirte more than one liners full of spelling and grammer mistakes.
![]() Back on topic. I think this is a good idea, but to avoid resentment, perhaps new people could ask to join. This way, they don't get picked because they are thought to be new at roleplaying, and the new member's feelings (and egos ) aren't hurt. Also, this is a thought I just had. On some sites, you can put a password on the forums so only certain people can read/post on it. I'm not sure if you can do that here, but it might help to keep new member's confidence up so that they know that they can post without having to worry about what other people think. I know that this is flawed, people will be able to access it forever if they get the password, etc., but I though it was worth a bit of thought.

If we allowed people to use passwords to lock their threads so only a select people could read and post in it... Then how would the rp get new writers if no one can read it to see what it was like.
But I do see your arguement on that one and agree it would be a good idea if it wasn't for that one problem. And Apathetic...what was that thread called?
