Roleplayer Guild - Forum Roleplaying Games

So, I have a bunch of suggestions and here they are:

1. A Suggestion Sticky for the Mods
2. An On-Topic Forum
3. Stickied Guides

Ok, so two.

A Suggestion Sticky for the Mods
Something to help keep track of current suggestions I think Mahz should post a sticky at the top that's locked where the mods can edit the first post to keep track of when suggestions are made and post links to the appropriate threads. This way, when Mahz is absent for a bit for any reason when he gets back all suggestions are in one nice spot for him to see. And he can also make notes beside them if they are implemented, planned on, in thinking or declined and why. They can be listed with newest on top and it would be nice for everyone to see what's going on.

An on-topic forum
This will also relieve the suggestion box cramming as well as solve some other on going issues. By adding an On-Topic or such forum and relocating the Articles sub-forum to there we will now have a place where interest checks and general discussion related to RPs and the Guild can be held (as the off topic and suggestion box fills up with those) while off topic can be reserved for non-rp/guild related discussion (including the infamous spam threads). This will also be good for the 'mentor' idea as new folks will know exactly where to go to ask for advice!

Stickied Guides
I think the articles section should have the most general, most useful, most well written guides stickied to the top. This makes browsing easier and helps you find the best of the best guides. This is not to say all of the guides are not helpful but the general RP guides, and improving style/skill guides are very general and I think belong right in front of your face. A guide getting sticky status would be as decided and voted upon by mods, and could be debated as soon as a new guide is completed.

Well Candi, these are all top quality suggestions. The second would have to be upon Mahz to implement, Us lowly Mods can't create new forums, lol. But the other two i will bring to discussion with the other moderators, i can quite easily see them happening as they're very good suggestions indeed.

More news on this when any decisions have been made.
