then what about... Best finished RP? It will encourage people continuing RP's till the end. And then you get some extra bonus or something when you are the creator of the best finished RP... Or something..

I don't know. The best RPs I've ever been in are the endless ones. They're more...realistic, since there isn't a "happily ever after". I'm hoping the Hogwarts one might extend to where we are middle age, even, just that well. But anyway, I think that voted categories such as that do tend to be more popularity contests and it might just be a magnet for drama. If it were to be implemented, it would have to be a democratic decision by moderators and such, since they're the few people who do read most of the threads and are the people who's job is to be unbiased in decisions like that.
But that's just me. It's not particularly potent a topic for me, so don't take my word too heavily.

It'd work like that if even we moderators had a chance to read through all of the posts. We read (well I am at least) as much rp as we can,but we don't have a collective mind to process all the threads and point out the best one. Also our tastes are rather different too.
About the extra bonus thing, its sounds rather bad to me. It'd make the forum into so kind of race to get that "extra bonus". I'm not sure that we could provide anything, also we already have problems with spams. |
