I am looking for 3 other people to participate in an arena match where each person is controlling an army while either trying to defend or attack a base on the top of a hill. Most of the details are still up for discussion, but I am currently leaning towards WWII era technology and a base unit count of 100,000 combat personnel for each PC.

I expect everyone who wants to join to be experienced in RPs that involve commanding militaries and to have decent knowledge of WWII era technology.

Hmm. I'm actually getting into the WW2 era stuff, so I'll give it a shot.
How would it work in a 2v2 manner?

RpG Arena. The are no great fighters. Only great writers.

It would basically be similar to a joint-operation between 2 nations attacking a joint-defense between 2 nations.

Everyone will get to choose some bonuses, I am currently working on the bonus list, for their army. These bonuses are what will set apart each military, so some will have more infantry, others superior tanks. That kind of thing.

Can we be expecting planes/battleships/artillery/trenches/fortification, or will it be more simplistic?

This will be well inland so no battleships, but all the others except for planes will be in it. Planes are a maybe still since this is going to be a tactical engagement.

It does not have to be WWII, but I am currently leaning in that direction pretty heavily.

I'd say no planes. From what I heard WWI planes were bombers and cannon fodder. Exuse me if I'm wrong, I dont know much about WW era tech.

It is WWII era, and as I said in the first post I really only want people with experience in Rps where you command a military and people with good knowledge of WWII era tech.
