COFFEEMAN IS BACK!

And thanks for all the praise. Im building on one of the stroies i recently wrote. Ill post the introduction.

HERE IS THE INTRO TO MY STORY! USE AS MUCH OF IT AS YOU LIKE!





Our story starts with a curious human, two espers, and a mythical land of swords and magic called Dregan’thor. But before we can begin, we must understand Dregan’thors geography and history. The land is divided into six different realms, known as the realm of the cave, realm of the beast, realm of the stars, realm of the clouds, realm of the township, and finally, the realm of the ethers. Each of these realms posses’ different geological landmarks, creatures, manner of people and races, and each is ruled by a governing body, or lack thereof.

The Realm of the cave
The realm of the cave is ruled by a moleman called Lunther. This right and just ruler ruled the cavernous underground with grace, dignity, is very fair with judgement, and since taking the earthen throne has led all the under-tribes and above-grounders to a peaceful co-existence which has been untouched by war for many years. Unfortunately this was about to change. Above the caves also falls under his jurisdiction, and this is where most of the agricultural produce for all of Dregan’thor is produced, being highly sought after by most of the other realms.

The Realm of the Beast
The realm of the beast is a lawless zone, with no formal ruler or any form of governing head. A great variety of creatures and animals live in this land that is separated into lush, verdant grassland and scorching, treacherous desert. Many aspiring heroes head here to train and to try and find glory. Mercenary camps are abundant here, as are a few villages, some farms and three monasteries.

The Realm of the Stars
A council consisting of five elders known simply as ‘The Five’ governs the realm of the stars. All the decisions concerning those who live either above or below the vast expanses of water are decided by a vote of head. It is the only realm that is partially submerged beneath the ‘Sinking Depths Ocean.’

The Realm of the Clouds
A mighty dragon warrior called Trona, who looks after the economic and political sides of ruling, and his brother Taron, who deals in the army, army wares, sales of weaponry and in Dregan’thors general defence, rule the realm of the clouds. This airborne city rests on a giant slab of stone, which is kept aloft and flying by four dragons. A giant castle dominates the centre of the realm of the clouds, and almost 90% of Dregan’thors armour and weapons are produced here. The slab of stone is covered in civilization, and need to trade with the realms below for food stores and natural supplies. Deep within the expansive stone is a complex structure where all the tame dragons in Dregan’thor are kept and are released in special cases of peacekeeping.

The Realm of the Township
The realm of the township is mainly concerned with the pursuit of knowledge and accommodate for the more wealthy landowners and merchants. Many libraries have arrived over the years, as have an assortment of different academies. A lady by the name of Clair rules over this urbanized civilization and consults her decisions with a group of representatives of the people. This is one of the most peaceful realms in all of Dregan’thor.


The Realm of the Ethers
Finally, the realm of the ethers is mostly inhabited by the espers. Female espers are called fairies, and male espers are called mairies, which make their home amongst the closely packed trees of this tall forest. The espers have no known form of government, partially due to their reclusive nature and detachment from all other civilisations. Many adventurers, scholars and researchers wander into the maze of trees to try and communicate with the espers, but most never return. The only known fact about them is that they control all aspects of nature, ranging from weather to growth of trees all over Dregan’thor. Our story will start in a hidden tree hollow deep within this forest.

Not long before out story starts, a war had ravaged the land of Dregan’thor, and its after effects were still being felt. Despite the competent rule of Lunther, the under-tribes had decided to band together to exterminate the above-grounders and claim their farms. Once the above-grounders found out about the coming attack, they had appealed to the realm of the clouds to help them push back the under-tribes. Since Taron and Trona had been born in the realm of the cave and were the sons of two above –grounders, they supplied them with a small attack squadron and two army dragons. As the under-tribes emerged from the caves to attack, the attack force and the two dragons tore the attack party apart. Once he had realised what had happened, Lunther was furious, both at the above-grounders for appealing to the realm of the clouds without his consent, and with the under-tribes for seeking to unfairly attack. He demanded a personal conference with Taron and Trona, and when they refused, Lunther declared that if they didn’t seek a conference with him within 30 days, not only would he stop supplying the realm of the clouds with the required agricultural needs, and if they refused for forty days, he would launch his own attack, destroying the crippled realm.

On day ten of the ultimatum, two espers, Marron and Dais, were gliding through the realm of the ethers when they stumbled across a crumpled body of a human girl on the ground. This is where our story begins…

I like how you got all sorts of styles of governing. But Fairies?! FAIRIES!?!??!!?!!?!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I would rather have the races stated before live in the different places Just my thought.

Also. I like Elves.
