Okie dokie! You've walked into the Fate/Stay Night based interest check! So thanks for taking interest (so far)!

Setting is Modern/Traditional Fantasy, Advanced Section.

The story is about the participants in the "Holy Grail War" which is where 7 Masters each pair up with a warrior called a Servant and fight for the ultimate goal of being the last pair standing and grabbing that Holy Grail.

Masters are magicians. They are normal every day people, with well hidden magical talents. With these powers they are able to summon Servants to fight for them.

Servants are summoned heroes of the past. They either existed from legend, myth or history. Servants are needed to be summoned as they are the only ones to be able to retrieve the Holy Grail. Also, their strength and fighting ability is MUCH stronger than that of a Master. Servants have the strength of demi-gods, but they too are bound by rules.

These rules are:

1) Only one Servant may be paired to one Master at any time.
2) If a Servant dies, the Master lives.
3) If a Master dies, the Servant has two hours to find a new Master or he/she dies as well.
4) No more than one type of Servant may be in the War (So only one of each class. No doubles.)

This game is only based on the idea of the anime/game/manga. That means all the characters in this RP will be original, so no characters in the anime/game/manga are to be used.

Servants as mentioned before can be legendary/historical figures. (i.e King Arthur, Lancelot, Miyamoto Musashi, Hercules) They are usually more stylised/cool versions of their previous selves and each fit into one of seven classes.

The 7 available classes for Servants are:

Saber
Archer
Rider
Lancer
Caster
Berserker
Assassin.

Now all these Servants each have a signature weapon that they possessed in their past. (i.e. King Arthur's Excalibur). This is known as a Noble Phantasm. The power of a Noble Phantasm is determined by the imminent fame of the hero. (How famous he/she is) So the more famous, the stronger it is.

There's so much more to go through, but all these details will be ironed out in the OOC if there's enough interest!

Edit: Yup, it's Light Saber in my avie. This idea all came about when Xaltwind (who has Dark Saber) and I were having PM matches as to which Saber was better.

Me and almond are so awesome(now that I'm clear on the rules...) that if it's just us and you, that's all you'll ever need!

LOL! As true enough as that is, I do want to see how many roles I can get filled as possible. Give everyone a chance. I have a little twist in store as well in terms of Master/Servant partnerships.
